We are starting a series of track sessions with Ruth and Victoria as a part of training for the upcoming Oberelbe race in Dresden. Starting from March, 4, we’ll gather at the Track of Volkspark Rehberge at 18:30 for a group training. **In Association With the Berlin Portrait Academy and PAKD Gallery / PAKD Art Lab** * **www.berlinportraitacademy.com** * **www.pakd-gallery.com/artlab** * **Cost: 15 Euros** A regular opportunity to study the nude or portrait from life for 3 hours, every single week! We have one long pose - you can choose whether to draw several studies from different angles around the room, or take your time to do a single sustained drawing or painting in full detail. The pose is held for 20 minute intervals with five minute breaks in-between so the model to rest and stretch, and so artists can move between seats if they choose. We provide some materials such as paper, pencils & pastels for free. Canvases, brushes and acrylic paint can be purchased at the event. We hope to see you there very soon!

Let's run! Our run takes about 1 hour depending on the route and group. Feel free to meet us along the way, just drop something in the comments and we'll wait for you. Our pace is typically 5:30 to 6:00 min/km. Welcome! This football session is for individuals who like playing on moderate to high intensity (run a lot and change position to give player with the ball option to pass). Usually play on a pretty competitive level. Our football skills are average to good. To keep things fair and enjoyable for all, we follow a few simple rules: ***Show up at 07:15 **so that you can get checked by the organiser* *If you are not checked by the organiser by kick-off at 7:30 then \*\*1 match penalty applies\*\*(being moved to waitlist)* *Related, if you sign out from the attending list after Friday at 3pm, a 1 match penalty applies (moved to wait-list)* *** No studs *If you show up with studs, then you wont be allowed to play - No dangerous tackling *If you get tackled, you need to call the foul - In case of handball only people close (1-2m) can call handball *Since we play 12v12, we have offsides (0-1m difference is still tolerated) - No penalties for handball in penalty box(no way of proving handball and please be fair) *In case of handball, the other teams goalkeeper gets the ball

Sunday mornings are for easy 5k's! Join us on our regular Sunday runs. This run is for EVERYBODY. We created RCB with the intention of connecting runners/people with each other. We know how hard it is to meet new friends in a city full of people. With RCB we want to make that easier. Every Sunday we will meet for a easy 5 kilometers (pace vary's according to people present), with a nice coffee and some socialising afterwards. We believe that running can be much more than performance or pace. Meet-up is at Maxway Coffee, Katharina-Paulus-Straße 2 at 11am. Hopefully see you there :)

We'll hike 3.4 miles on the Killdeer and Yellowlegs Trails - both out and back gravel trails. If we want more mileage we can repeat an out and back. Pace of around 3.5 mph, no one left behind and those who want to go faster sure can! As always optional lunch after. This is the second Metro Park in the lineup for me - with 21 to go (plus more are being added).

Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THAT’s Contra Dancing! Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor. Be sure to come for the beginner's lesson from 7:30 - 8:00, followed by dancing 8:00 - 10:30. All dances are taught; we will help you learn! Beginners always welcome, no need to bring a partner. Cost is $10.00 adults, $5.00 ages 12-26. Under 12 free. Free parking in church lot. Over time I'm hoping to organize a hike to all the Franklin County Metro Parks. This is the first one so if you're interested jump in! We'll start with the Canopy Walk, a cool feature of this park. Climb 100 stairs to the top - or take the elevator if stairs aren't your thing. At the top there are a bunch of things to play on - a rope bridge, a fireman pole that we can slide down - and more! About fifteen minutes there and we'll head to the natural trail, Buttonbush, Maple and Beech Trail for 2.2 miles then do a 1.7 mile loop on the paved Greenway Trail. We'll be passing our cars as we transition if you only want to do the first loop, or the second loop. Pace of around 3.5 mph but no one left behind. If there is an interest we can grab lunch nearby afterward.
