Thursday Evening – Long Pose Life Drawing and Painting
This is a studio based long pose life drawing and painting session. We have a nude model for two hours in a single pose to give you time to complete a finished drawing or to paint the figure. You are welcome to draw or paint in oils or wet media. Our studio is purpose built and well equipped with easels, drawing boards, clips and so on. We sell materials at reasonable prices so if you forget anything we should be able to help you out. We have professional lighting for the models and full spectrum lights for the studio to give you a good experience. We break for 5 minutes for the model every 25 minutes This is not a tutored session but it is run by artist [Audrey Fattouche](https://www.instagram.com/audreyfattouche/), who will be happy to give guidance if requested and may suggest themes or ideas to consider during the evening. Please join us for our weekly run and social - a great (free!) way to meet new people! We meet at 7pm outside The Horatia ( https://maps.app.goo.gl/p1QnyurFQh3gywov6) and head for the run together from there. You can leave a small bag or extra layer at the pub at your own risk. The winter route is around Highbury Fields and in the summer we do a loop to Clissold Park, both ending at the starting point- the Horatia pub. We run 5km at an easy pace (about 6-7 mins per km), with some people going faster and some slower. After the run, we will head to the Horatia pub for some drinks (alcoholic and soft are fine- no judgment!).

We play a bunch of different games at each session (like British Bulldog, Capture the Flag, Dodgeball, Frisbee and many more), and every class is different. Full disclosure: my fitness is terrible, although I am slowly getting better! We all know that exercise is important, but its just way more fun when we are all doing it together!! :-) Parkrun is totally free, and so is this meetup event. Let's aim to meet at 8.45am. And then afterwards, some of us may go to a nearby cafe for some breakfast or a coffee together. During the run itself, I expect we will get separated, as each of us will go at our own pace. Currently, this meetup event repeats every 2 weeks. But Parkrun is actually every Saturday. So if there is the interest, I am happy for this meetup to repeat on a weekly basis also.
