Besides being self-employed for several years, he volunteered at the **Bahnhofsmission at Bahnhof Zoo**, where he supported homeless and vulnerable people. Today, he works with people experiencing mental health challenges and studies Social Work. In this special meetup, he will speak about his time at a language school in Viareggio (Italy), his international experiences, and his social engagement in Germany. 📚 **Talk topics:** • His time at a language school in Viareggio, Italy • Living, learning, and working abroad • Volunteering at the Bahnhofsmission & encounters with homeless people • Social work and personal motivation • Personal stories & open Q&A session ⏱ **Format:** The speaker part will last approximately **30–45 minutes**. We normally meet a few times a month during the week from 6-8pm. We will occasionally meet on weekends during daytime hours.

Bienvenue! Columbus French Conversation group invites you to our Saturday morning French conversation club. Expect a casual and welcoming atmosphere in which to learn french! I will bring my laptop so we can look up new vocabulary as needed! The venue is a beautiful French restaurant so you can really get into the zone :)

While some are still meeting online, this is an in person event. Please note that we have attendees of all levels of speaking, including some native speakers. All are welcome! Also, as we meet at the same time and place each week, many don’t RSVP on the app, so we will likely have more attendees than noted here. Note: if you are asked to pay and upgrade the Meetup app, this is not necessary. You can ignore this and still attend our meetings.
