âCurious about posture? Weâll explore ease of movement and body awareness through the **Alexander Technique**âno experience needed and in a small group. This is a regular Monday class.
We learn to cultivate awareness of our body's responses to thoughts and also to activity/ simple movements. This class provides practical tools for overall well-being by improving personal posture, coordination and a sense of inner rest.

Scott Bolden, founder of Das Baumhaus Berlin will share some very easy, practical and effective methods developed during the last 12 years of facilitating the âImprovisational Groove Orchestraâ (I.G.O.) improv vocal jam sessions.
Within 20 minutes participants learn to use the common sound space to create resonance in the form of improvisational music where it is quite common to experience some real flow momentsâŚ
It is very easy to participate, no musical talent or training is required so anyone is welcome to join. All of the session is done with eyes closed to avoid visual distractions and keep focus on the co-created sound space. During these sessions we will also have short breaks for feedback and refreshment.

**About Summer Solstice**
Every year, around June 21st, people around the world celebrate the Summer Solstice â the longest day of the year and a cosmic turning point. Ancient cultures saw this as a moment of powerful solar energy, inviting reflection, growth, and awakening.
The Summer Solstice represents the culmination or peak of the Sunâs journey in this Solar Year. The subtle solar energies of the Sun and the Yang energy are at their maximum. All the seeds that were planted at the time of the Spring Equinox begin to fructify in the Highest Light, both in Nature and also in our Inner Universe, according to our Spiritual Aspirations and the Seeds we planted inside ourselves.
The Summer Solstice is a time of Celebration that gave rise to the many festivals and celebration around the world, some of which still continue to this day.
This highest peak of the Sun, which also represents the Maximum of Light and Consciousness favours an awakening or deepening into the essence of our Consciousness â the inner light within or the Immortal Self, ATMAN.
It also represents the opening of a certain subtle energetic portal, granting easier access into the Spiritual Realms.
**About the event**
The program will consist of a general presentation on the significance of the Summer Solstice followed by a meditation to tune in with the subtle sphere of force active in this special time.
Optionally, we may also be able to enjoy a small bonfire â sitting around the fire like our ancestors used to do :) or simply enjoying the powerful rays of the nourishing Sun, becoming conscious of its enlightening radiance projected and reflected in our being.

Neha Pugalia
Founder & Yoga Teacher
Neha Pugalia is the founder of Yogicescape Berlin, home to two studios in Prenzlauer Berg and Friedrichshain. She embodies the essence of India's living traditions â the Vedas, Ayurveda, and holistic living â and has been leading Yoga, Pranayama, and breathwork trainings worldwide, including 200-hour and 300-hour teacher training programmes. Her approach is not just instructional. It is a direct transmission of living practice â a heartfelt offering of love and deep wisdom rooted in ancient scripture. Neha's teaching is also guided by the principle Vasudev Kutumbakam â "The World is One Family" â and she gives back through work supporting underprivileged children in India.

Shohre is a 500-hour Yoga Alliance certified teacher (RYT-500) who has been teaching since 2018. Over the years her practice has grown beyond asana into meditation, mantra chanting and sound healing â threads she now weaves into every class she leads. Yoga changed her life; she speaks of it less as a practice than as a way of living she carries with gratitude every day. What she loves most is holding space where that healing energy can be shared â through movement, meditation, mantra circles and music.

Laugh without Reason Event (DE/EN)
Important information: The event will always take place regardless of how many people attend the meetup. There is always a second laughter yoga conductor (Heidi) and a couple of other regulars who don't use Meetup.
Laughter Yoga is a unique concept that combines laughter exercises with yoga breathing to promote wellness and overall happiness. You will learn how to laugh without reason. The event is perfect for anyone looking to de-stress, boost their mood, and connect with others in a light-hearted and fun way. You don't need any yoga experience, just the willingness to laugh.
**Do I need special clothing?**
* Just wear comfortable clothes. Please bring some thick socks or clean shoes for the room.
**Do I need anything else?**
* It is essential to stay hydrated. **Please bring some water**.

**What does an event look like?**
* We incorporate laughter exercises, breathing exercises, playful exercises, positive affirmations, and dancing. The event ends with a laughter meditation of \~ 15 minutes.
**What if I can't laugh?**
* Everything is voluntary. If you can't laugh, you can simulate it, and usually, people get into genuine laughter during the sessions. Laughter yoga is a great way to laugh more, to laugh deeper, and more frequently!
**How many people show up?**
* Usually, the group size is between 7 and 20 people. Regardless how many people sign up via meetup, the event will always take place. Many people don't sign up via meetup.
**Where is it?**
* It's close to U2 Märkisches Museum. The Kreativhaus Berlin Mitte has one entrance. Please be there 5 minutes before we start. After 7 pm, it might be closed, and you either have to ring the bell or go around the house and watch out for the yellow smiley flag. The session takes place in "Projektraum 2/3".
Sessions are either in German or English. We always make sure that everyone understands it.

We gather in a circle. Your friendly walk host gives a speech to set the tone. Everyone shares: your name, what you're grateful for, and your topic. That's it. 60 seconds.
**Step 3: Walk, talk & float**
We walk 5 miles. You naturally drift into conversation with 2-3 people at a time, pulled by topics that spark your curiosity. When you're ready to move on, just say: "I'm going to float!"

Columbus Comedy Improv Meetup at Gresso's!
Whether you've never done improv before, or you've done it for so long you were quoted in *Truth in Comedy*, or anywhere in between, come join us! Swing by *Gresso's* for the **Columbus Improv Comedy Meetup**!
The idea behind improvised comedy is to create entire scenes from scratch. A suggestion is taken from the audience and laughter is built on the spot. This can be done in game form, like *Whose Line Is It Anyway, Make Some Noise,* or *Wild 'n Out*; it can also be done in a longer way, to tell a complicated story, like *TJ & Dave*.
Our meetup, which is central Ohio's longest running (and FREE!) weekly comedy event, brings the games for you to play in a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment. Afterward, many members will hang out in *Gresso's* itself and get to know each other. Not only is this a lot of fun, but you get to work on thinking faster on your feet, your public speaking, plus it's an excellent way to meet new people and build relationships that will last a lifetime, and you do that while laughing your butt off!
