Always wanted to sing but worried about performing in public? Looking for a group to help coach and support your singing at all levels...? Want to learn more about music technique and sight singing while having fun at the same time? Then London Sings! is the group for you. London Sings! is a no audition local community choir which is big in personality and looking to grow. We cater both for experienced singers and those fairly new to singing, with plenty of opportunities for interesting performances. We are even planning a trip to Madrid this year! We sing a wide variety of pieces ranging from jazz and musical theatre to classical, and from unison through to four part harmony, while having a lot of fun in the process. Let's kick of 2026 in euphoric high octane musical style with one of the **best dance music DJs** out there from **Japan** droppin phenomenal uplifting high energy spritual **rave tunes** in one of the most famous places in Clubland London and in the home of music Camden - **Koko**. As per any real clubnight you'll ever attend - as we get high - there will be inspiring immersive light shows / lasers for our bodies to sync in harmony to as with gyrate to the rhythm of the night... This is a proper dance music club - so obviously there will be no mainstream commericial pop! Instead think of the dance tunes you'd hear at other clubs like Lightbox, Egg, Bagleys, The Ministry, Moondance, Fabric, Paradise Club etc. Average age range 18 to 35 So Free Tickets are strictly limited - so if you don't love BITH uplifting dance (rave) music and dancing to it - this is not a place for you - please don't rsvp and deprive someone who genuinely loves dance music a rare slot! Strictly no lightweights - if you're go gonna home at 12am no point in coming out really - it will just be a waste. Also naturally - there will be quite a lot of people on class A drugs inside, if you're not ok with that then probably best to avoid. And If you've been to a proper club before - you'll know the revellers won't even bother arriving until about after 2am and the main sets of the night won't even kick off till 12am. But we have to get in there before 10.30pm else door charge without tickets will be about £45-70 quid, maybe cheaper with university student ID. If you wanna pay for full ticket price and meet us in there about 1am that's fine too as 10.30pm is a understandably way too early to go a music club (hence the reason we getting free tickets) - we can sort out the details later. Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THAT’s Contra Dancing! Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor. Be sure to come for the beginner's lesson from 1:30 - 2:00, followed by dancing 2:00 - 430. All dances are taught; we will help you learn! Beginners always welcome, no need to bring a partner.
