Trivia with Andrea at GLB Brewpub
They have a new trivia host at GLB Brewpub. This description is from their Instagram:
THERE’S A TRIVIA NIGHT DOWNTOWN, AND ANDREA IS ASKING THE QUESTIONS! Is your brain is packed with history facts, pop-culture nonsense, science tidbits, or information you genuinely can’t remember learning? Then, this is night is for you. Andrea’s trivia questions will have you saying “oh yeah, I knew that” or “why on God’s Green Earth do I know that?”. Play to win or play for the joy of giving all of that cerebral clutter a stage. We’ll have #FreshGLB and delicious food, because nothing tastes quite as good as victory (except maybe another round). 🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻 Every Tuesday @ GLB Brewpub (Downtown Toronto) at 7PM! ) 📝
Classic pub-trivia format so join us as we discover it together and decide whether or not we want to keep it in our rotation.

🎬Movie: Crime 101 - Food & Drinks after the movie 🍿!
🎬 Let’s Go to the Movies (and Actually Talk… or Not)
Whether you're a film nerd, popcorn enthusiast, or just looking for a chill night out with interesting people — this one's for you.
We’re heading out to see a movie together, then grabbing food or drinks after. If the film's great (or terrible), we’ll probably talk about it forever. If it’s just okay, we’ll talk about it for 10 minutes and move on to everything else — books, dating apps, weird dreams, how Toronto keeps getting more expensive, etc.
The vibe is relaxed, friendly, and not too serious. No film degree needed. No icebreakers. No pressure to “perform.” Just come enjoy the film, connect with some thoughtful people, and see where the night goes Click here to watch trailer!
🎞️ **Movie Title + Trailer:** [[Click here to watch trailer!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f5y-cziwmMw)]
📖 **📖 Plot Summary:** Set against the sun-bleached grit of Los Angeles, CRIME 101 weaves the tale of an elusive thief (Chris Hemsworth) whose high-stakes heists unfolding along the iconic 101 freeway have mystified police. When he eyes the score of a lifetime with hopes of this being his final job, his path collides with a disillusioned insurance broker (Halle Berry) who is facing her own crossroads, forcing the two to collaborate. Determined to crack the case, a relentless detective (Mark Ruffalo) closes in on the operation, raising the stakes even higher. As the multimillion-dollar heist approaches, the line between hunter and hunted begins to blur, and all three are forced to confront the cost of their choices–and the realization that there's no turning back.

❄️🌿 St. Clair West to Yorkdale: A Winter Ravine-to-City Walk 🌿❄️
❄️🌿 **St. Clair West to Yorkdale: A Winter Ravine-to-City Walk** 🌿❄️
**An easy, scenic winter walk you don’t want to miss**
This is one of those walks that reminds you why Toronto is such a fascinating city — where nature, neighbourhoods, and everyday life all blend together. Join us for a **beautiful 90-minute winter walk** that takes us from leafy ravines to one of Toronto’s most iconic malls, all at a relaxed and social pace. ✨
We’ll start at **St. Clair West Subway Station** and head into the peaceful **Cedarvale Ravine Trail**, one of the city’s hidden winter gems. Snow-dusted paths, quiet trees, and fresh air make this the perfect way to enjoy winter without feeling overwhelmed by it. ❄️🌲
From there, we’ll continue along a trail that runs beside **Allen Road**, offering a surprisingly calm walk through the city’s infrastructure and green spaces. We’ll pass through **Wenderly Park**, a small but lovely park that connects communities, before making our way through the **Allen Centre**, a charming local mall that feels like a little pause in time. 🏙️☕
One of the highlights of this walk is moving through the **Lawrence Heights community**, an area with a rich and important history in Toronto. As we walk, you’ll get a sense of how the city has evolved — from postwar housing development to one of Toronto’s most talked-about neighbourhood revitalizations. It’s a walk that quietly tells a story, without ever feeling like a lecture. 💛
We’ll end our journey at **Yorkdale Mall**, where warmth, food, and good company await. Depending on time and group size, we’ll either sit down together at **The Cheesecake Factory** or keep things casual with lunch in the food court — either way, it’s a perfect, cozy finish after a winter walk. 🍽️❄️
This walk is **easy, social, and totally manageable in winter**, making it a great way to get outside, move your body, and actually connect with people — without rushing or pushing yourself too hard.

2nd Tuesday Movie Night - SEND HELP
Send Help is a 2026 psychological thriller directed by Sam Raimi, starring Rachel McAdams and Dylan O'Brien as two colleagues stranded on a deserted island after a plane crash, leading to a dark, comedic, and unsettling battle of wits.
Movie screening with RBH
RBH invites you to a special community movie screening of Pearls of Peace, an inspiring documentary about endurance, reflection, and the power of peace.
In 2024, at age 75, Lynn Salvo set a Guinness World Record as the oldest woman to bicycle across Europe from north to south—traveling from the Arctic Ocean to the Strait of Gibraltar. Over 95 days, she rode 4,330 miles through 12 countries, visiting and honoring sites that commemorate peace.
Pearls of Peace follows Lynn’s extraordinary journey as she cycles through breathtaking landscapes, encounters wildlife and human companions, navigates mechanical and physical challenges, and meets inspiring people along the way. Through these experiences, the film explores the stories behind peace sites and reflects on our shared responsibility to care for our planet and one another. Lynn calls for resources spent on conflict to be redirected toward building peace and protecting our common home.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with Lynn Salvo. Light refreshments will be served.

| Perfect Days follows Hirayama, a middle-aged man living a life of humble simplicity in Tokyo. His days are governed by a meticulous routine: he wakes at dawn to the sound of a street sweeper, tends to his maple saplings, and drives his small van through the city to his job cleaning public toilets. Despite the seemingly lowly nature of his work, Hirayama performs his duties with the grace and precision of a master craftsman, finding deep contentment in the order and service he provides. |
The core of Perfect Days is a celebration of presence and the dignity of labor\. Director Wim Wenders suggests that a meaningful life is not found in grand ambitions or material wealth\, but in the intentional appreciation of the here and now\. The film posits that true freedom comes from accepting life's limitations and finding 'perfection' in the subtle\, fleeting moments of harmony between humanity and nature\, encapsulated in the Japanese concept of Komerobi\. \|
