A relaxed walking group for anyone who enjoys dogs, philosophy, and good conversation by the water. We meet in Port Credit and walk along the lake, taking time to discuss big questions about life, meaning, freedom, responsibility, and the strange experience of being human. Conversations are loosely inspired by existential thinkers like Jean-Paul Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir, and Albert Camus, but no academic background is required. Dogs are welcome, but you don’t need a dog to join. Some people come to walk their dogs, some come for the philosophy, and some just want fresh air and thoughtful conversation by the lake. PET EXPO HAS CHANGED LOCATION TO MANASSAS SO I NEED TO FIND ANOTHER DATE FOR THIS. Please note park charges admission but meetup itself is free. I highly recommend folks invest in a NPS annual pass as it will pay for itself quickly. We will be exploring the Virginia side of the Great Falls National Park. Please meet at the visitor's center promptly at 9 am. Dogs must follow NPS rules (be kept on a leash and be 4 months/fully vaccinated). We will depart after the group picture along the ramp to the visitor center. This will be a gentle slow walk to take in views.

This pack walk is to help exercise before heading over to the SuperPet Expo. This year the location is at Manassas Mall with Corgi Races tentatively scheduled for 1pm. I do not have details on PetExpo yet. This will be a short 1-2 mile walk at most. Meet at the Henry Hill Visitor's Center and we will vote on which trail to take since not everyone may be racing and need to get to the expo center.

We will be hiking the loop trail, (counter clockwise) around the BeaverDam Reservoir starting at the brand new Reservoir Park VisitorsCenter. Beautiful views of the water and varied woodland areas. This is an 7.5 Mile loop hike around one of Northern Virginia's largest bodies of water. The loop is mainly flat with a tiny hill or two. I've rated the loop moderate because the distance is 7.5 miles. After the hike we'll head over to Lark Brewing. 24205 James Monroe Hwy, Aldie, VA 20105 for food and beverages. \*\* I will make every effort for your safety. You are hiking at your own risk.
