We will look at both the challenges and advantages of this approach, illustrated with practical examples and sound demonstrations. **Christian Grothe** is a programmer and musician based in Potsdam. During his music studies, he became increasingly interested in creating improvised electronic music using his own tools. Starting with MAX/MSP, exploring the Axoloti board, experimenting with Arduino and Teensy, and eventually building an analog modular synthesizer from scratch, his technical abilities evolved through time and hands-on experience. Primarily focused on building tools for live sampling, Christian settled on a stack where he uses Rust to create custom sampler instruments running in the terminal, alongside SuperCollider patches—literally making music with tmux. **pluginmaker.ai - How We Turn Text Prompts into Working VST/AU Plugins -** Maksymilian Padalak pluginmaker.ai is the first ever browser-based, no-code generator for VST and AU audio plugins. Users describe an effect or instrument in plain language - "plate reverb with decay and damping controls" - and within minutes receive a plugin they can load in almost any DAW. In this talk they'll demo the full flow from prompt to plugin, walk through how the generation pipeline works at a high level, and share what they've learned building an AI system that writes real-time audio code. Maksymilian Padalak is an ex-Nord Security (NordVPN) developer, guitarist, music producer, former professional standup comedian, and co-founder of pluginmaker.ai - an AI-powered platform that generates audio plugins from natural language descriptions. He co-founded the project with his best friend and ex high school bandmate Dominik Bilski, an ex-FedEx and ex-Pearson developer, bassist, and AI enthusiast. Both quit their jobs to build pluginmaker.ai full-time.

**Join us for outdoor grass volleyball in Hasenheide park!** This event is not suitable for complete beginners. We play with two nets. The "chill court" is for mixed-level play with 3v3 up to 5v5. The "competitive court" is for higher-level 3v3 or 2v2 play with beach rules. Be sure to wear suitable sports clothing and perhaps bring a drink. Valentin is a long-term contributor to JuliaLang, JuliaGPU and EnzymeAD. He is a Research Software Engineer at [JGU](https://www.uni-mainz.de/) and Uni Augsburg, and graduated from MIT where he did his doctorate in the [JuliaLab](https://julia.mit.edu/). Julia is a high-level dynamic programming language that is widely used in technical computing. Let's explore how Julia uses LLVM to target CPUs, accelerators and even synthesize gradients. This month, we are in-person at GameArena!!! We will also be joined by students and their games from [Shawnee State](https://www.shawnee.edu/game-design-programs)! \-\-\- Join us for our our monthly COGG Prototype and Play event @GameArena! Come to play and showcase your games. We're back in the upper levels of the catwalk mezzanine area. It'll be packed with lots of camaraderie playing your game(s) and other's games on the 2nd floor as well as the 1st floor in the gaming room below the mezzanine. Light snacks and water provided but you can buy food and drinks at the bar (alcoholic drink ID required). The more we can have to play test our games the better! **Developers:** Do you have a game that you would like to get critical feedback on? Would you like an excuse to work on a game with other talented artists, programmers, musicians, designers, and writers? Digital, table-top, non-experienced developers, and the like are welcomed! We'll provide signage for your game to help others learn more about your work. Wifi, outlets, tables, and seats (though standing tables also) are available. Come to the Prototype and Play workshop to collaborate and meet local game developers for an evening of epic and raw game play fun! Play works-in-progress, show off your own game, work with others to add polish to a game, or even lend your talents to other fellow developers.
