**Welcome to edition 14 of the Generative AI Belgium Meetup! đ**
This time, we go on a quest.
Many epics speak of the brave and the adventurous going on a quest to conquer, slay, tame, or train a dragon along the way. The last three years of AI developments have their own stories of creativity, novel paths, and unforeseen challenges that seemed too big to tackle. In this edition, we want to bring some stories of people and teams who didn't choose the easiest path, but the most interesting one.
Join us on March 5th at Dataroots, Arnould Nobelstraat 32, Leuven, to meet these brave souls and get a feel for what it takes to tackle a challenge from scratch.
Whether it's navigating the dragon that is the EU AI Act, training and running a custom language model, or building production-ready systems, every path has its own fire-breathing challenges.
See you there!
**Line-up:**
\- đ [Niels Tack](https://www.linkedin.com/in/niels-tack/): Taming The EU AI Act - Compliance as code

Neo4j Session:
**Living in an Agentic World (model) by Andreas Kollegger**
What if we onboarded AI agents the same way we onboard employees? That's the key insight of "context graphs" - giving agents access to why decisions are made improves their performance.
This leads to \*Agentic World Models\*: the convergence point where agent memory, knowledge graphs, and context graphs meet. Agents discover written policies and unwritten tribal knowledge, learn formal org structures and informal influence networks, and capture the \*decision traces\* that explain not just what happened, but why it was the right call.
We'll cover:
\- how to capture decisions traces
\- how to query the context graph when making decisions
\- a demo of what this looks like
Together, we'll put context in context.

Free Meditation & Yoga on Thursdays in Greenwich @ 7.30pm
Hello there! - We'd like to welcome you to Free weekly meetings hosted by Shalini & Manitu which take place at the:
Greenwich West Community & Arts Centre, 141 Greenwich High Rd, SE10 8JA,
on Thursday evenings from 7.30pm until 9.00pm
With Sahaja Yoga Meditation we normally sit on chairs to achieve yoga, effortlessly & spontaneously. So there is no need for mats and no special clothing required.
All across the globe, many are seeking new sources of energy. Meanwhile, the most transformative energy of all is hiding in plain sight, within us. It's natural, sustainable, and infinitely renewable.
It's called inner kundalini energy. And everyone already has it â everyone!. It is often likened to an inner feminine or motherly energy
which automatically knows about us and what is needed to help us restore balance and harmony within our subtle being. It works spontaneously, effortlessly, organically and cannot be paid for.
Sahaja Yoga Meditation is a simple time-honoured technique that lets you tap into that energy and harness its power to become better balanced and better connected to yourself â emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually
If you're having trouble juggling the challenges in your life, Sahaja Yoga Meditation might well help you manage stress, master your emotions and find solutions to your problems
. You may enjoy better health, better focus, and a deeper understanding of the universe and your place in it.
Meditation is not just for mystics and monks.
Sahaja Yoga meditation is for everyone. Anyone can do it. It's that easy. But with the Sahaja Yoga experience, you'll quickly realise, it isn't your typical Meditations 'R Us type class. It's much more than just feeling peaceful and relaxed. Sahaja Yoga Meditation has many layers, varied and deep. Explore at your own pace, in your own way. Our volunteer experts are always available to help.
Ready to plug into your inner energy? A Sahaja Yoga Meditation class is a great way to start. A few minutes of your life may be all it takes to connect to your inner energy and light the path to lifelong transformation. Sahaja Yoga is more than a temporary solution or quick relief â it is a journey, rather than a destination. It's all about energy â guaranteed pure and carbon neutral. You can never have too much of it.
The best part? All classes are free. No strings, no catch.
Everyone is welcome. Bring a friend, bring your self â all are welcome.
We have a web site here in London too which you can visit for more info about weekly meetings: www.sahajayogalondon.co.uk (http://www.sahajayogalondon.co.uk/)

Vibe Coding the Enterprise: From Flow State to Focused Delivery
*đAbstract*
Vibe coding captures something real: momentum. The ability to move from an idea to a working prototype at surprising speed, guided by intent, context, and AI assistance. But in an enterprise environment, speed alone isnât enough â software must also be secure, compliant, observable, and built to last.
We'll see how teams can build applications in a single, end-to-end development flow â from business requirements and early prototypes to engineering, testing, delivery, and production â without breaking context or introducing late-stage rework.
At the center of this flow is the software catalog: a living system of record that connects services, APIs, data, ownership, dependencies, and standards. More than documentation, the catalog becomes the shared interface for developers, platform teams, and AI agents to understand the system and act consistently, within enterprise rules and guardrails.
The goal isnât to limit creativity, but to make flow sustainable â turning AI-driven momentum into software thatâs ready for production.
đ *Key topics*
⢠From vibe-coding to ai-assisted delivery in production
⢠Software catalog as the system of record for enterprise context
⢠AI agents operating in context continuity within guardrails

Book DiscussionâNationalising Oil and Knowledge in Iran
Join us at SOAS for a free discussion with author Mattin Biglari about his book *Nationalising Oil and Knowledge in Iran* (2025).
***Nationalising Oil and Knowledge in Iran: Labour, Decolonisation and Colonial Modernity, 1933â51* by Mattin Biglari**
Iranâs nationalisation of oil in 1951 was a key catalyst for the rise of resource nationalism as an animating force of global decolonisation, expelling the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company (AIOC, now known as BP) after nearly fifty years of domination in southwest Iran. *Nationalising Oil & Knowledge in Iran* turns attention to the origins of nationalisation in the everyday struggles between the oil company and subaltern actors in the city of Abadan, then home to the worldâs largest oil refinery and deeply imbricated in networks of colonialism and racial capitalism.
Engaging with energy history, postcolonial/subaltern studies, and science & technology studies, the book focuses on the politics of expertise: how nationalisation reproduced the epistemic coloniality of the oil company, which rested on local dispossession, social engineering, as well as racial and gendered segregation. It argues that nationalisation diverged from subaltern contestations of oil expertise in Abadan, which presented a more fundamental challenge to colonial modernity.

Quarterly Goals Reset for Product Professionals
One of the most valuable parts of this community is the opportunity to think out loud with other product professionals. This session is built for exactly that.
As we wrap up the quarter, itâs a great time to pause and reflect. Whatâs on track? What needs adjustment? Where could a small shift create bigger impact?
Join fellow product professionals for a focused, interactive conversation designed to help you recalibrate for the next quarter. Youâll have the opportunity to share where you are, hear how others are thinking through similar challenges, and gain fresh perspective you can bring back to your team and organization.
Weâll gather at 8:00AM, with discussion starting promptly at 8:15AM.

Friday night social: Let's go to scene 75!
Weâre heading back to Scene75 on Friday, March 27 for a high-energy night of laser tag, mini golf, go-karts, arcade games, and whatever chaos we decide to get into.
Weâve done this one before and it was a blast â great turnout, tons of laughs, and just the right mix of competition and hanging out. If you missed it last time, this is your shot.
đŻ What to Expect:
Laser tag battles
Mini golf challenges
Go-karts (for those who need speed)
Arcade games & game cards
You can load however much youâd like onto a game card. Most people will probably be good with $15â$30, but itâs totally up to you.
This is a super casual event â show up, jump into whatever looks fun, rotate groups, and hang out. No pressure, no complicated structure. Just a solid Friday night with good people.
Also⌠I havenât hosted in a bit and Iâm making a push to be more active again. If youâve got ideas for future events youâd love to do, bring them. Iâm all ears.
Letâs run it back. đĽ
Data & Analytics Wednesday - Google Analytics Alternatives
**Google Analytics Alternatives**
Is it finally time to make the switch away from Google Analytics? Two-and-a-half years ago Jason Packer asked this question at Columbus Web Analytics Wednesday.
Since then: Googleâs Universal Analytics has been sunset, weâve changed our name to Columbus Data & Analytics Wednesday, and Jason has released two editions of his book âGoogle Analytics Alternativesâ.
Fresh off the release of the 2nd edition of his book, we thought it was time to re-open this conversation. While people love to complain about it, GAâs market share has remained relatively constant (at least in the United States). Why is that? You wonât find any complaints about GA4 in this talk, but rather an overview of whatâs currently available in the market and how to frame your decision-making process.
Weâll also be giving out some free copies of Jasonâs book! So even if youâve got a âGA4Lyfeâ tattoo (no judgement), thereâs free books to go with the free pizza and beer.
