The Breakdown
The Breakdown
Join us this Wednesday from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM for **"The Breakdown: Why is Christianity True? Hard Evidences for Faith."** Skeptics are completely welcome! We will be diving into tough topics such as why Christianity stands out among thousands of religions, science in the bible, bible predictions, archeology, the paradox of free will, divine hiddenness and the problem of evil and suffering. For Christians: Can you handle these questions? * How do i know the Bible hasn't been changed? * How do I know Jesus Christ was real? And then how do I know what's written in that book is real versus just some guys thousands of years ago made a book? * Are these people saying that they saw him walk out? Are they saying that they just saw it empty? What is the claims being made about his resurrection from these witnesses? * Who decided that there should be 39 books in the Old Testament? * Should there be more books in the Bible? **Agenda** * **7:00 PM:** The Evidence (Examining the evidences) * **7:35 PM:** Open Q&A **What to Bring** Bring your hardest questions! Any thing we can't answer initially will become a fun research topic! There are no limits for the open Q&A session.

Engineering teams get the freedom to build their own agentic workflow, without losing control. Trusted by engineering teams at GitHub, British Telecom, Yum!, dLocal, LG, and more.
Power of Practice
Power of Practice
We’d like to invite you to the final Wytchery, before we take a break for the summer. This one will therefore be a bit special and we will be combining the things that we’ve learned over the past year into a big summer ritual and celebration. This session is intended for those who have previously attended the Wytchery. Don't worry if you haven't, as you can always join us in September. We started the Wytchery in June 2022 hoping that we could give people an experience of what it might be like to work in a group and you have all made it so much more magical than we could ever have expected. Thank you so much for coming with us, participating, contributing and creating the wonderful experience that is the Wytchery. **We are asking for a fee of £10 (+booking fee) to cover Treadwell’s overheads as well as the cost of any supplies. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early as we start promptly at 7pm.** The Wytchery is an inclusive programme of workshops for solitary witches with little or no experience working with a group. Witches can drop in and out and will gain hands-on experience raising power, working magic, trance, spells, talismans and magical tools and using these in group work. Expect to get involved –moving, making or meditating. Expect to meet people, to learn and to contribute. You will walk away with new skills – and often with something for your own practice. Note that we are not making money from the Wytchery, we hope for it to be a purely social endeavour. Our workshops are aimed at witches who have not had much, if any, experience of working within a coven or a magical working group – or even working on your own, if you are new to the craft. If you have some experience but would like to hone your skills, you would also be most welcome to join us. We find we learn new things all the time, even after years of magical practice.

Blood on the Clocktower @OtterChaos
Blood on the Clocktower @OtterChaos
Join OverBoard to play the brilliant social deduction game Blood on the Clocktower in person at the brand new board game cafe Otter Chaos in Brixton. If you haven’t heard of Blood on the Clocktower before it is an evolution of classic party games like Mafia/Werewolf where a hidden evil team takes on the good team by lying and killing. The good team has a few tricks up their sleeve but will have to work together to deduce who the evil doers are in their midst. **This is a beginner friendly event so no experience with the game is necessary.** Please note that a gaming cover charge of \~£5 will be payable by each attendee to the venue so that we can make use of the space. We also encourage you to buy food and drink from the bar so we are supporting the business (I can highly recommend their pizzas!) ☠️🍺 LET'S TALK HORROR (PUB SOCIAL)
☠️🍺 LET'S TALK HORROR (PUB SOCIAL)
***💀*** ***That great horror is not defined by how much money is on the screen, but by how effectively it gets under our skin!*** **👋** **What's going on guys!** Lately, we’ve seen some really unique entries, like **[Backrooms](https://www.google.com/search?q=backrooms+movie+trailer&num=10&sca_esv=bcc915fd4b92abab&sxsrf=ANbL-n6brQB7O1WSwFtdXtHuvAteIlGCyA%3A1781015954868&source=hp&ei=kiUoauCaMruvhbIPnuGYoA0&iflsig=AFdpzrgAAAAAaigzokKyXBPw2Qw7a4MIuGSKOJgOcjAC&oq=backrooms+movie+tr&gs_lp=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&sclient=gws-wiz)** and **[Obsession](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gMC8kkwbIQQ)**, which were both made with micro budgets. This is honestly so refreshing as we are just a little bit fatigued now with overblown budgets and tired retellings with no soul. For years, some horror films have chased bigger budgets and larger spectacle, but many of the most exciting recent releases have relied on atmosphere, creativity, strong concepts, and passionate filmmakers rather than endless spending. Some other honourable mentions are **[Hokum](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jP2nDyQWBOU), [Primate](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wo87F-va410), [Faces of Death](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mc6L502Ukb4), [Forbidden Fruits](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0nyUCq9k7_0), [Whistle](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIkIp4L865M), [Iron Lung](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IaEtA56pd_w), [Passenger](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eNIn8kW1kyE)** and **[Cold storage](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kea7gnh1uYA)**, all of which were made on relatively modest budgets. **It raises some interesting questions:** **Are we finally seeing a return to the kind of inventive, character driven horror filmmaking that made the genre so beloved in the first place?** And, **Could this be a sign that the industry is learning a big lesson?** Fingers crossed. You are cordially invited to a relaxed evening at **The Three Johns in Angel,** starting at **6:30 PM.** We’ll dive deep into all this B-movie buzz and celebrate the creative magic behind modest-budget horror. **Full address and details of the condemned location are below**. So grab a drink and share your spookiest thoughts. Each session opens with a Soulbits oracle image setting the tone for the gathering we will move through. We will come together to honor the natural rhythms of rooting, rising, releasing, and receiving; the cycles that shape the soul’s journey. Through the four pillars of being: mindset, movement, connection & nourishment, we will create a space where imagery, sensation, and community weave together. Where the body becomes the guide, images act as mirrors, and the soul speaks. This circle is about noticing what rises, honoring what’s true, and reconnecting with the parts of yourself ready to be seen. This is a space to gather your scattered pieces, soften your body, and return to your truth with community by your side. Soulbits Circle is a reminder that every fragment of your story, every soulbit, belongs. Together we weave them into the blooming wholeness that you are. *Energy Exchange: 1-group $20-40 or 6-group $115* *Payment Options: Venmo or Cash* **Please RSVP to [Caitlynn](https://kalikwellnesswithin.org/) via** **email @ [kalik.wellnesswithin@gmail.com](mailto:kalik.wellnesswithin@gmail.com)** **text @ ‪(614) 407-4021‬** 💫
