Let's talk! đŞ April Theme: The Slammed Door
**Let's Talk! An Open Space for Parents of Teens**
**đŞ April Theme: The Slammed Door**
If you have recently stared at a closed bedroom door, wondering how your once-chatty child suddenly turned into a silent roommate (or an explosive one!), you are not alone.
Parenting teens is an adventure best traveled together.
Join us for our monthly "Let's Talk"âan informal evening designed to give you a breathing space, honest conversation, and genuine connection with other parents who get it.
**This Month's Focus: The Slammed Door**
We will dive into the withdrawal, the sudden need for intense privacy, and the delicate balance between giving your teen space and staying connected.
We will weave into the conversation some practical, Relational Leadership input on how to navigate this phase without taking it personally, and how to keep the lines of connection open even when the door is physically shut.
**What to expect:**
* **Come as you are:** It is a space to drop the mask and be real about the ups and downs of raising adolescents. All feelings and experiences are welcome here.
* **Room for free flow:** While we will anchor our evening around The Slammed Door, we are always opening the floor to whatever is alive for you right now.
* **Guided support:** We will be there to guide the conversation and offer expert input. There is zero pressure.
We are here to support you in stepping into your role as the steady leader your teen needs.
Please RSVP so we can secure the right table for our group.
đđź With that said, feel free to join on short notice!
Bring your wonders, your stories, and that day's version of yourself.
Looking forward to our evening!

Meldet euch an. :)

Grief Circle â Remembering Love, From Darkness to Light
Ring at A.Kapros. Doors: 15:40-16:00
**A sacred space to honor sorrow, release pain, and remember love**
At Yanantin Tribe, we open grief circles where heart, body, and spirit can meet. Inspired by ancestral traditions, we gather in community to carry what was never meant to be held alone. Here, darkness and light are both welcome â grief is not fixed or rushed, but witnessed with care.
**Tickets & Support**
This grief circle is offered freely as a community space.
If you wish to support the continuation of these circles, you can choose the Support Ticket â CHF 25 via Eventfrog.
ď¸Tickets & details:
[https://eventfrog.ch/en/p/health-spirituality/health-wellbeing/grief-circle-remembering-love-from-darkness-to-light-7417591177858309023.html](https://eventfrog.ch/en/p/health-spirituality/health-wellbeing/grief-circle-remembering-love-from-darkness-to-light-7417591177858309023.html)
A grief ritual is a communal gathering where sorrow is given space and form. We welcome all expressions of grief: personal loss, heartbreak, ancestral wounds, collective pain, or a quiet heaviness without a clear name. Through music, song, rhythm, movement, silence, and guided ritual, grief softens and reveals the love beneath it.
**Bring: comfortable clothes, water bottle and your own cup for tea, curiosity**
**The experience**
* Enter a safe, held circle where all emotions are welcome
* You may share, move, cry, sing, or remain silent â no pressure to speak
* Place a personal item, photo, or symbol on a shared altar (optional)
* Move through ritual practices that allow grief to be witnessed and released
* Close with grounding and gentle integration so you leave supported
**Why this circle matters**
* Release unspoken or long-held grief
* Be held without advice or fixing
* Honor both sorrow and love
* Heal personal, ancestral, and collective layers
*
**Practical info**
* Held every two weeks on Sundays
* Free to attend as a community offering
* Donations welcome to support the continuation of these circles (entirely optional)
* Bring: a token, photo, or personal item for the altar (optional)
* Wear: comfortable clothing
* Note: if you are in acute crisis or experiencing significant mental health challenges, please inform us so we can support you best
* Impressions of past events: [https://yanantintribe.com/events-gallery/](https://yanantintribe.com/events-gallery/)

AndrĂĄs offers 1:1 grief support, death & dying accompaniment, and end-of-life presence alongside this community work:

**Personal Support & 1:1 Work with AndrĂĄs**

Feed Peace
**About us**
Hi everyone, our names are Felix and Claudia. We are a couple who love to play acoustic guitars and sing. Our wish is to bring peace through our music and into the hearts of burdened people. Today's world is very hectic, stressful and full of worries and fears. Therefore it is good and healthy to take time off, switch off the phones, practice digital detox and to feed peace in our lives.
**About the event**
Come all you who are tired, stressed, worried, heartbroken, depressed, lonely and who carry heavy burdens and find peace through a spirit-filled musical experience. Come as you are.
We offer spiritual Christian music with two acoustic guitars and song. Afterwards we explore ways to "feed peace" in our lives over coffee and cake.
This event is open to everyone. We welcome you.

**WHY?** we â¤ď¸ **uniting people** and building **community** while having **fun!** We truly believe that **fun meaningful offline connections** to new & existing friends makes us truly happy and healthy! Our community meets **every 2 Fridays** in a **homey,** caring and **welcoming** "come as you are" environment !
.
**WHAT is this event?** We are not a "party or drinks" meetup, nor we follow a "forced" process and agenda. Instead, we are a **Connection Community** inspired by Greek village cafes and Swiss Stammtisch â a welcoming environment where neighbours gathered as equals to share stories and build lasting friendships. We meet in a "**fixed-rhythm**" every 2 Fridays in a **homey** & **lovingly-hosted space** so you can connect with new and familiar faces. We provide **several optional activities** to help you **connect** with othersâso you're free to **explore what resonates** with you! Together these activities create a unique **Connection** **Event.**
.
.
.
.
**TIPS on how to connect:**
* **Look out for a good smile/vibe** in a person/group of 2-3 people and say "Hi my name is xxx, can I join?".
* **Try something different** (person, game, table, activity) often until you find **fun** **quality connection.** We have a lot of activities
* **Ask** **Support:** we understand going out to meet friends can be a stretch. We make this easy with a fun and safe event. Also you can ask for help from our clearly communicated (see photos of this event) "**People Connectors**" who can help you discreetly to connect with others
* **Invest time**(not quickly just come by) as friendships are an investment
* **Come back**: big turnaround, people come randomly at each event, so you never know who you ll meet
.
.
**.**
**Some final words:**
* **Bravo** **to you** for the courage to go out to meet new people! We know **everyone is unique** \- thats why we got a big new\-comer area\, 4 co\-hosts welcoming and connecting you\, and many activities for you to **choose** from to find what **suits you**!
* **Weather?** Event takes place rain or shine, with indoors rooms and outdoors area that is ultra rain-protected
* **Coming late?** no problem, we got many people until closing at 00:00 so come whenever!
* **Too many attendees?** no problem, we got the space! Also as per the "what" above: you define what makes the event meaningful for you! Furthermore, the co-organisers have one goal: to say hi and introduce you to the event and people (if you want to please ask)! Finally remember: you dont have to talk to everyone, focus in a few people! Less is more! If you dont know where to start look for a good smile or an activity more matching to you. From there keep on trying people and activities..
* **Why so many options above for connection?** We always have: a first-timer area, Fun social games, Mindful games, ice-breaker questions or simply just talk freely to anyone. Often we add: Speed-friending and a Music jam. We believe **you are unique** and each of us prefers different ways of connection. Also we want to provide an opportunity for everyone to try something new
* **Easy and Safe:** We have the whole location reserved for us so its safe to open up and meet new friends (unlike bars in ZĂźrich where people find it strange if strangers talk to them). Christos and volunteers will also help with connection. Read more info below.
* **Christos** (see [PHOTO](https://photos.app.goo.gl/pdtVaVGCyDEJ28uE8)) and our co-organisers will be wearing name budges and will aim to **welcome** **everyone.**
* more info via our **[LINKS](http://linktr.ee/connectionspace)**
* Yes YOU are **good** & **courageous** for looking for new fun connections!
* Everyone is in same situation and you ll be surprised how **friendly people** are â¤ď¸
* Come **early** though **later** also ok as many people there **until 00:00**
* **It works**! We heard of many new friendships, living together and even getting a new job
* **Mindful Connection Games:** from [The School of Life](https://www.theschooloflife.com/shop/?_product_type=games-card-sets) available: Confessions Game, The Friendship Game, Connection Game, The Loser Game, Games for grown-ups and three sets of "100 questions" (Conversation Toolkit & Careers & Relationships)
* **Fun Social Games:** bring your own **board/card games** or choose from: Cards against humanity, Exploding Kittens, Codenames, Debatable, Sotally Tober, Taboo, Mafia, Uno, Monopoly and more.

In-Person Psychedelic Peer Support Integration Circle
**Please join the Montgomery County Psychedelic Society for our monthly in-person psychedelic peer support.**
This group is for those who have already had experiences with psychedelics and are looking to explore, understand, and learn from those experiences in a safe, welcoming space.
Psychedelic integration is a way of turning the insights and experiences we have when we use psychedelics into lasting behavior and lifestyle changes. Itâs a process of becoming whole, moving from altered states to altered traits. A psychedelic peer support meeting is a place where people take turns listening to and sharing their experiences, thoughts, and feelings relating to psychedelic integration.
**Cost**
Free
**Location**
* We meet in a private home in Bethesda, MD.
* Street parking available
* The primary bus routes servicing the intersection of Greentree Rd & Bradmoor Dr in Bethesda, MD, are the Montgomery County Ride On Route 30 (Bethesda Metro â Medical Center Metro) and Ride On Route 47 (\~5â7 min walk)
**This group may be right for you if you:**
* Have past experience using psychedelics
* Want to talk through your psychedelic experiences openly with supportive people
* Seek additional strategies for continuing your integration process
* Wish to support others in their personal growth within an inclusive and judgment-free space
**This group may NOT be right for you if you:**
* Hope that attending might replace your need for professional treatment of any mental health problems you might have
* Are looking for group psychotherapy, medical care, or psychiatric treatment or advice
* Had a challenging experience with psychedelics that continues to cause you distress
* Want to find out where to access illegal substances or guides or practitioners working âunderground.â
**How it Works**
Here are a few things to know about how our peer psychedelic integration group works:
* Tea, water, and snacks will be provided
* Please plan to attend the entire event.
* Late arrivals and early departures disrupt the safety of our space. Doors will close shortly after 7 pm
* There is a 15-person limit for this event so everyone has a chance to speak and be heard.
* You must register via our MeetUp page.
**Our Expectations of all Participants**
To help keep our time together focused, meaningful, and safe for everyone, we ask that you abide by these expectations:
* We treat everyone in our circle with courtesy, compassion, and respect, regardless of age, ability, race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
* We do not encourage or condone any illegal activities, the purchase, sale, transfer, or use of any illegal substances, or partaking in any unlawful activities related to illegal substances. For those who choose to partake, we encourage safety and awareness from a harm-reduction perspective.
* We do not use illegal substances during our meetings.
* Please do not use the group for references to ceremonies or where/how to find illegal substances, online and/or in person.
* Do not bring, buy, sell, transfer, or arrive under the influence of any illegal substances, or swap information on how to acquire them through the group, online, and/or in person.
* Anyone who disregards these basic requests will be asked to leave the group and not be permitted to return. Thank you for respecting the safety of the space we are co-creating.
**Finally**
* *We ask that you not show up without registering.*
* Attending these meetings does not create a treatment relationship. Any attendees requiring medical or psychiatric treatment will be offered referrals to professional care.
* If you have accessibility concerns, please contact the facilitator via a Meetup message.
* If you wish to speak to somebody about difficult psychedelic experiences and are unsure where to turn, immediate and free peer support is available from the psychedelic helpline [Fireside Project](https://firesideproject.org/).

**World: Fitting In & Feeling Out of Place**
A chill coffee meetup to chat, relate, and vibe with people who understand. Weâll keep things simple. Good coffee and a relaxed conversation around our topic.
**đŁď¸ Structure**
Weâll discuss how we currently view our place in the world, fitting in as well as how our week has been. Feel free to join in, or just listen and ease into it while you enjoy your coffee (and maybe a pastry??). No biggie, this group is chill.
đşď¸ Meet-up spot (tentative): by the colorful couches in the back (pictured in the banner of this post). Iâll update the exact spot a few days before.
If anyoneâs up for it, we can keep chatting and take a short walk across the street to the park (Old Town Square) afterward.
đ Parking: There's plenty of off-street parking in the parking garage attached to the building. There's also open spaces across the street.
⨠Letâs have a whimsical Saturday morning with a chill discussion and supportive vibes.
