Gentle Flow & Sound Bath
This nourishing 60-minute session blends a gentle, feel-good yoga flow with immersive sound healing to help you move, breathe, and soften back into yourself.
We begin with a slow, intuitive flow designed to release tension, awaken the body, and create a sense of ease and fluidity. Movements are accessible and adaptable, focusing on grounding, opening the heart, and reconnecting to natural rhythm rather than pushing or striving. Breath awareness guides each transition, allowing the practice to feel both energizing and calming.
As the body settles, the session gradually transitions into a deeply restful sound journey. Using instruments such as singing bowls, chimes and voice gently wash through the nervous system, supporting relaxation, emotional release, and creative flow. You're invited to rest, receive, and simply be.
This class is ideal if you're seeking:
* A gentle yet uplifting movement practice
* Stress relief and nervous system reset
* A sense of grounding, creativity, and embodied calm
* A mindful experience that blends movement, sound, and presence
No prior yoga or sound healing experience is needed. Come as you are - curious, tired, inspired, or simply in need of a pause.
âš Move. Feel. Rest. Reset.

Living in Color: Queer and Confident at 50+
**Living in Color: Queer and Confident at 50+**
with *Jörg Wellenkötter*
for **GBTQ men\***
**[Free event with registration](https://wearevillage.org/en/shop/men50plus/w03-2026)**
Queer people over 50 face a range of challenges in a society shaped by youth, physical attractiveness, and heteronormativity.
Even within the queer community, there can be ageism, where older individuals are seen as less relevant or interesting. A lack of family structures or close friends can also lead to isolation in midlife.
In this group, youâll meet like-minded people who are also navigating the challenges of getting older.
Here, we support and empower one another, share our experiences, and learn from each other. Together, we want to embrace the challenges of aging â and enjoy life to the fullest!
**General information**
**Language**: Depending on the groupâs needs, sessions will be held in German and/or English.
**Cost**: Free of charge, registration required.

#### Leben in Farbe: Queer und selbstbewusst mit 50+
#####

A perfect way to kick off the weekend!! Cost 30âŹ. Bring your own drawing materials. I supply ink, palettes, water jars and rags. Beginners very welcome!! Contact 01721803629/ alexinegood@web.de
Conflict to Connection: A Queer Zine workshop
**Conflict to Connection: A Queer Zine workshop**
with SarĂĄ KrĂĄl
event for **LGBTQIA+**
**[Free event with registration](https://wearevillage.org/en/shop/zine-workshop/w03-2026)**
To conclude the Conflict & Resilience project, we invite all participants from Radical Empathy â Queer Storytelling, the working group Conflicts as Opportunities, and anyone interested to come together and create a conflictual zine.
This workshop has a hands-on, collective, and experimental character. Queer lives are shaped by tension â between belonging and exclusion, visibility and erasure, intimacy and distance. Instead of smoothing over these contradictions, we want to make them visible and work with their energy. Conflicts become starting points for creativity, connection, and shared learning.
Together, weâll create a zine that captures our experiences, questions, and frictions. Words, texts, fragments, collages, drawings, or notes â everything can find its place in this collective process. Weâll exchange ideas, tell stories, and weave individual voices into a shared expression. Itâs going to be a collective zine â each participant will make a certain number of pages with their contribution. Zine-making is more than an artistic practice â itâs an act of self-empowerment and community building. By sharing our stories, we create space for diversity, contradiction, and mutual inspiration.
Open to all ages and backgrounds â whether youâre making a zine for the first time or already have experience. Bring your ideas, your questions, and your conflicts â and letâs turn them into something new, together. Participants are invited to prepare a small contribution for the zine â such as a conflict story, poem or crossword â and bring any visual materials (magazines, stickers, cut-outs, photos) to support it
**General information**
**Participant**: this workshop series is open to LGBTQIA+ people.
**Language**: Depending on the groupâs needs, sessions will be held in German and/or English.

**Hinweise**
**Teilnehmende:** Die Reihe richtet sich an queere Menschen (LGBTQIA+).

Portrait Drawing on Sunday Afternoon
This group is for everyone who is interested in drawing portraits!
For me, drawing has been a wonderful way to gain a new perspective on the world and the people within it.
Whether you are just starting out or have been drawing for ages â all levels are welcome :)
How it works:
1\. We meet at The Castle pub in Mitte and do short sittings of 15 minutes for each other\. The first sitting is divided into 3 warm\-up sketches\, 5 minutes each\.
2\. Before we start\, everybody writes their name on a blank card \(provided by the organizer\); these cards are then used to randomly pick the model every 15 minutes\.
3\. Usually we do 8 sittings\, with a 15\-minute break in the middle \(so after 4 sittings\, or 1 hour\)\.
-> The participation is free, but it is expected that everybody orders something from the bar to support the lovely location.
Get out your pencils and let's start!
Please bring your own art supplies!
Consent / Learning about boundaries and communication
**Embodied Consent in ENGLISH**

fĂŒr **LGBTQIA+**

**[free event with registration](https://wearevillage.org/en/shop/embodied-consent/w03-2026)**
Being aware of your boundaries and expressing your consent or non-consent are essential skills in life, but we donât often get a chance to actually practice consent skills in the same way we practice other skills, like singing, playing sports or learning a language.
Consent is about much more than a simple yes or no. When we deconstruct consent, we discover how to communicate our true desires and stop choosing the things we donât. Through discussion, movement and partner games, we will build tools to express and negotiate physical desires and set boundaries through the use of practical exercises. This workshop is inclusive and welcoming to individuals of all body sizes, genders, and background.
This is a non-sexual workshop, and great, low pressure situation in which to practice communication and touching. Itâs as much about how to truly say yes and mean it as it is about saying no!
If youâve not yet taken a consent workshop at the village, now is the time! This experience will not only help you navigate within the we.are.village community, but it will also equip you to carry these values into your life. Together, we aim to nurture a consent-centered community with shared values, emphasizing individual responsibility in upholding these principles. Our ultimate goal is to foster healthy relationships and create an inclusive community for a better, more connected future.
**General Information**
* **Registration**: max. 18 participants with registration. Limiting the number of participants is necessary to ensure the quality of the process.
* **Language**: This workshop is conducted in **ENGLISH**.
To ensure a better understanding of the subject, it is led alternately by a German-speaking teacher and an English-speaking teacher. Please select the workshop that best suits your language needs.
