Come along to get rid of the number one fear people have. Every week we have new members and people starting from scratch so you will not be alone. Everything is based around what you're comfortable with and you don't have to stand up, talk or do anything if you don't feel like it. But you will have the opportunity to speak at least 4/5 times a night. You can come along to see what we're doing and take part if you like. We want to create a safe space that is especially welcoming to first-time performers. If you're new to sharing music, know that this is a no-pressure, supportive space where beginners are encouraged. **How it works:** \* It’s unplugged and intimate. We go around in a song circle—each person gets a turn to play one song per round. You’re welcome to sit out a round if you prefer. \* Singers welcome—no instrument needed. Go acappella or ask for accompaniment. \* Covers, originals, instrumentals—all styles welcome. **A few practical notes:** \* RSVP is essential in order to perform. \*Plus one’s are welcome but please keep it to one - RSVP only required for musicians. \* Can’t make it? Please update your RSVP so someone else can join. \* Respect the performers: stay quiet during songs, and use breaks between rounds to grab a drink or step out. \* The venue is free—support the bar if you can by grabbing a drink. \* The room we will be in is semi-private - patrons may wander in and listen from the back of the room. **Tips jar on the night

**Comedy Night + Open Mic + Freestyle**: We've hired a professional comedian to warm the group up for our open mic session. Members have been making me laugh for years and we've tossed around the idea of a comedy night / open mic. Well, It's time to step up and crack me up. We'll start with Tristan Shae and a couple of his friends. Tristan is an alternative comic from Columbus, Ohio. A counselor by day, Tristan explores how comedy can improve mental health by telling jokes and stories that muse on how absurd life can be from squeaky clean topics to not so clean ones. Tristan produces the variety show Cheaper Than Therapy, hosts the weekly Problem Child Alt Comedy Open Mic at The Attic, and can be found engaging in all sorts of silliness around the city from stand up shows at The Nest Theater, The Attic, or The Funny Bone, to improv and sketch shows with various groups at various venues such as The Hashtag Comedy Club. **On Freestyle night** \- just bring a bottle to share\.
