## What is Meditation?
Meditation is a state of mental silence or rest, where our attention is aware, but not engrossed in thinking. It is known as ‘thoughtless awareness’. It is achieved when the indwelling Kundalini energy awakens and carries the individual attention beyond the level of the 6th chakra, into the seventh chakra, known as Sahasrara.
## Yoga!
It is here we achieve Yoga! As the mind finds rest and silence, we become able to feel our inner Self (Spirit). This can be tangibly felt, it actually manifests, as a cool wind, breath or breeze, often experienced on the palms of the hands or at the top (crown) of the head. It is a spontaneous, effortless natural happening.

## How to get into balance?
The secret of the Sahaja Yoga method resides within us, at the base of the spinal chord, in a triangular bone called the “sacrum bone”. Since our birth in our sacrum bone dwells an inner energy called in Sanskrit Kundalini; it is characterised as a feminine energy and once activated, this energy rises along our spine until it reaches the top of the head and finally connects with the universal energy. This union is called “yoga” in Sanskrit.
## Kundalini
As our indwelling Kundalini rises through the central channel, this benevolent feminine energy activates the chakras, removing all the impurities from them and nourishing the entire inner system. It is through this happening that we are elevated into ‘thoughtless awareness’, the mental silence of true meditation

**WHAT TO EXPECT**
Unwind into the week ahead with a gentle **Somatic Yoga & Sound Journey** led by **Nadia May**. Expect slow, intentional movement paired with the steady resonance of sound bowls — designed to help the body release tension and drop into real rest.
During the session, we'll be supported by **red light therapy mats and face masks**, combining light, warmth and vibration to support nervous system regulation, recovery and restoration.
The experience finishes with a grounding closing ritual featuring **Superoom’s adaptogenic Reishi blend** — a calm moment to land before heading back into the evening.

All You Need is a Laugh
Thirty years ago, a medical doctor in India, Dr Madan Kataria, created Laughter Yoga, a process of guided breathing exercises combined with simple, easy movements, to liberate laughter. You don’t need to feel happy to benefit from the release of endorphins that accompany the exercises. The body doesn't know the difference between fake and real laughter. All the benefits are the same. This is laughter not as comedy but as a practice.
Laughter is an essential tool in building confidence, removing cynicism and increasing enthusiasm. Not only that, it is great for your health, increasing oxygen levels, improving circulation, strengthening the immune system, and improving brain activity. It also dramatically reduces stress by naturally releasing endorphins.
**'All You Need Is Laugh’** is a gentle, easy workshop suitable for everyone. You don’t have to feel jolly to do it – the exercises release endorphins anyway and give an immediate lift to the spirits.

What is pregnancy yoga? Pregnancy yoga is a form of gentle yoga that is designed to complement the growing needs of a pregnant body during all three trimesters. The focus is on restorative poses that keep you safe while practicing movement, stretching, deep breathing, and mental centering.
What are the benefits of prenatal yoga?

Puppy cuddles yoga and playtime

A typical puppy yoga class will have approximately 8-10 puppies with around 15 participants and the puppies can range from 8-14 weeks old.
Puppy yoga classes involve having puppies roaming from one mat to the next, leaping on participants, and tussling with other puppies as you try out different yoga poses. Often pups are incorporated into some of the yoga poses or they happily roam free throughout class.
All puppies are borrowed from a local breeder and we find the breeders from websites such as Kennel Club or Pets4Homes. On some occasions, Puppy Yoga gives the puppies an opportunity to be adopted, if they haven’t already found their forever home. The puppies get the chance to be around other people (not just their breeder) which enhances their socialisation.
In the first 3 months of a puppies life it is very important to expose your puppies to different people, new environments, sounds and smells. Puppy yoga is a safe and fun space that aids with our puppies socialisation.
Interactions with animals, especially puppies, has been proven to be extremely beneficial to our mental wellbeing. The hormone oxytocin is released, in both dogs and people, when puppies interact with someone they like. This provides stress relieving physiological benefits.

Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation also known as “yogic sleep” or “effortless relaxation”. It’s usually practiced lying down with a teacher guiding the session.
