Elements of Tantra Massage and Bodywork - with Andy
This workshop will enable you to learn some skills and tools so that you can explore connecting with yourself and others through **tantric touch and massage**. We will *integrate tantric philosophy, shiatsu, acupressure, reiki and oil massage*. After arriving and settling with a grounding practice and short meditation, we will lay out boundaries and agreements to ensure a safe and heart-centred space. We will then be ready to climb down deeper into our bodies, opening up, stretching and awakening lifeforce with do-in, qi gong and other movement practices. We'll then move into sensual connection with each other through gentle and thoughtful exercises, an undressing ritual and some simple bodywork and massage. Please note that nudity is involved in some of the workshop. This workshop is for you if: \- You are curious about understanding more about the essence of Tantra \- You want to feel more connected to your body and with others through touch and massage \- You are working on healing from negative experiences regarding your sexuality \- You want to become more mindful and more present \- You are looking to break out of patterns that no longer serve you \- You want more intimacy \- You are interested in working with energy \- You are interested in better sex\, with yourself and with others \- You want to integrate sexuality with spirituality ***Please note that as a group, we commit to holding a safe, boundaried, inclusive and respectful space. This meal is a celebration of balance — indulgence without excess, spice with restraint, and dishes that invite conversation as much as comfort. Drawing from royal Indian culinary traditions and reimagined through contemporary forms, the menu reflects a table where cultures meet, stories unfold, and time slows down. Join us for a thoughtfully paced vegan dining experience, where crisp, refreshing beginnings give way to rich, comforting mains and a dessert that lingers softly at the end. Each course has been designed to echo both royal Indian flavours and globally familiar forms — tacos, arancini, tempura — creating a menu that feels welcoming, elegant, and quietly indulgent. **What to Expect** * **Royal Mélange** *Shaved cucumber dressed in a delicate rosewater vinaigrette — light, aromatic, and refreshing* * **Nawabi Tempura** *Crisp seasonal vegetables served with a creamy, gently spiced curry* * **Galouti Taco** *An indulgent, soft kebab cooked with spices and herbs, folded into a warm taco* * **Okra Burani** *Creamy spiced yogurt with crisp okra chips, finished with fresh herbs* * **Makhani Arancini** *Masala rice arancini paired with a rich, velvety makhani gravy* * **Pistachio Kulfi Cheesecake** *A nutty, kulfi-inspired cheesecake delicately flavoured with pistachio and cardamom* The menu is accompanied by **Nawabi Nectar**, a house mocktail/cocktail crafted to complement the aromas and richness of the evening. **The Shahi Table** is more than a meal — it’s an invitation to gather, to slow down, and to experience Indian flavours through a lens of elegance, warmth, and shared pleasure. Come for the flavours. Stay for the feeling. We look forward to welcoming you to the Shahi table. *This is an intimate gathering of 10 people, BYOB if you wish.*
Spring Reset Retreat: Intuitive Painting and Sound Immersion
Spring Reset Retreat: Intuitive Painting and Sound Immersion
**TICKETS AVAILABLE ✨ [HERE](https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/spring-reset-retreat-intuitive-painting-and-sound-immersion-tickets-1986941342041?utm-campaign=social&utm-content=attendeeshare&utm-medium=discovery&utm-term=listing&utm-source=cp&aff=ebdsshcopyurl)** ✨ Slow down with a 3-hour experience of intuitive painting and sound immersion in a riverside studio by the Thames. Step into *BE Ka Art Studio*, Elena's atelier in *Trinity Buoy Wharf*, for a Saturday morning of creative exploration, mindful reflection, and a gentle, restorative reset. Creative practice is not just about making art — it nurtures your wellbeing. Research shows that creative activities can reduce cortisol (the body’s main stress hormone), ease physical tension and pain, and support emotional balance. When you enter a state of creative flow, the brain shifts into patterns similar to meditation, promoting relaxation, clarity, and presence. Art-making also stimulates the vagus nerve, activating the body’s “rest and digest” response and guiding the nervous system toward calm and safety. Sound also plays a powerful role in this process: immersive tones, such as those of singing bowls, deepen relaxation and enhance this meditative state, helping to lower stress, ease anxiety, and slow the heart rate, stimulating theta and delta brainwave activity. Through intuitive painting and sound, you are invited to regulate emotions, reconnect with yourself, and feel more grounded. Art is not about perfection or outcome — it’s a space to process, release, and return to yourself. **Creativity is medicine.** **Join for a creative reset✨** ### **The Experience** This half-day retreat (approx. 3 hours) is designed as a space to slow down, reconnect, and explore creativity without pressure. This is an intimate group experience, with a maximum of six participants, ensuring personalised attention and a deeply focused atmosphere. **Schedule** **10:45** Arrival and welcome. A short walk around the site to settle in and take in the surroundings. **11:00** Sound bath experience. We visit the nearby lighthouse for an immersive sound bath with Longplayer, a one-thousand-year-long musical composition of Tibetan singing bowls, surrounded by panoramic views over the Thames. **11:30** Return to the studio for a brief guided breathing and body-release exercise to help you arrive fully into the creative space. You’ll then move into an open, intuitive making session. There are no rules or expectations — you’re free to explore, experiment, and create at your own pace. **Your Creative Session** Depending on your selection at checkout, you will work with: * **Watercolour on paper** A3 watercolour paper, watercolours and a wooden board * **Acrylic on canvas** A3 stretched canvas, acrylic colours and a table easel **Available to everyone** Paint palettes, brushes, A4 paper, kitchen towel, apron, markers, coloured pencils, water-soluble pencils, and wax pastels. You are free to work independently, but Elena will be present throughout the session to offer gentle guidance if needed — from colour mixing to simple technical tips. #### **Optional Materials (available on site)** Additional materials can be purchased on the day if you wish to expand your work: * A7 rough watercolour paper * Watercolour sheets in various sizes * A3 mixed media paper * A3 coloured paper * A4 canvas board * A3 stretched canvas **The studio has step-free access.** Suitable for all levels — no experience needed. **TICKETS 👉 [https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/spring-reset-retreat-intuitive-painting-and-sound-immersion-tickets-1986941342041?utm-campaign=social&utm-content=attendeeshare&utm-medium=discovery&utm-term=listing&utm-source=cp&aff=ebdsshcopyurl](https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/spring-reset-retreat-intuitive-painting-and-sound-immersion-tickets-1986941342041?utm-campaign=social&utm-content=attendeeshare&utm-medium=discovery&utm-term=listing&utm-source=cp&aff=ebdsshcopyurl)** ### **Please Bring** **\- BYOB** – No drinks or food will be provided. Check in for Survivors of Narcissistic Abuse - Online
A calm, low-key space to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself alongside others who understand. The **Queen’s Rise Circle Survivor Check-In** is a gentle, bi-weekly gathering created for women healing from narcissistic, emotionally harmful, or difficult relationships. This is not therapy or a formal workshop. It is a supportive community space where survivors can come exactly as they are. Some weeks you may want to share. Other weeks you may simply listen. Both are welcome here. Together, we focus on small steps forward, emotional grounding, and rebuilding confidence in a safe and respectful environment. This space is survivor-led and trauma-aware, grounded in empathy, respect, and confidentiality. ### Who this is for This check-in is suitable for anyone who: • Is healing after a narcissistic or toxic relationship • Feels emotionally overwhelmed or isolated • Wants connection without pressure or judgement • Is looking for consistent, gentle support between workshops or coaching You do **not** need to be at a particular stage of healing to attend. ### What this space is not • Not group therapy or crisis support • Not a place for advice-giving or fixing others • Not a space for confrontation or debate It is simply a supportive circle for reflection, encouragement, and community. ### What to bring Just yourself. Tea, notebooks, and comfortable energy encouraged. There is no requirement to share if you are not ready. You are welcome to listen, reflect, and simply be present. Want to Truly Heal from Emotional Trauma?
Want to Truly Heal from Emotional Trauma?
Why are we unhappy? Where does emotional pain come from? Studies show that people who suffer from long-term emotional pain have painful experiences in their lives that were never fully resolved in their mind. In other words, there were issues in the past that were not completely dealt with. This can include abuse in childhood, breakups, divorce, death of a loved one, to name a few. How do you know whether you have gotten over something painful? Here is an easy test: Do you still have attention on what had happened to you? For instance, do you still find yourself thinking about something painful that you went through? If you are, then you are not over it. In fact, in severe cases, people find themselves playing a "tape" in their mind over and over again. So how do you heal from your past? How do you stop the "tape" playing in your mind? Free In-person Meeting: Unwanted Emotions & Loneliness, How to Get Over Them
Free In-person Meeting: Unwanted Emotions & Loneliness, How to Get Over Them
This is an in-person meeting. Did you know that unwanted emotions like loneliness, sadness, hopelessness, anger, fear, anxiety, or feelings of irritation don’t just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not chemical imbalance in your brain due to some nebulous chemical reactions by chance. Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you. The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life. For instance, let's say you are already carrying a huge load on your back, then you cannot take on much more, but, let's say something else happens to you, such as the difficulties from the Pandemic, then the resultant combined weight on you can take you over the edge, kind of like the straw that break the camel's back. When this happens, people's attention usually goes to the straw that was added, but actually the majority of the weight had come from the huge load that were already there, holding a person down and causing a person issues. So how do you remove the huge load that was already there? How do you lighten them up? Is it possible to get rid of them? That is what this meeting will be all about. Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life. Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there. Free In-Person Meeting: Healing from Trauma and Past Betrayals
Free In-Person Meeting: Healing from Trauma and Past Betrayals
This is a free, in person meeting. Burdened by a stressful relationship? Unhealthy relationships can trigger feelings of anger, despair or self-doubt. They can create dwindling spirals of fights and seeking to make-up, or trying to “pin the blame” on someone or something. If you don’t find the RIGHT reasons, or select the correct sources of the problem, the problem can just get worse and worse. Whether in love or personal ties, with friends or at work, our life really IS affected by the quality of our relationships. Good ones can promote pleasure and survival while less optimum ones can lead to annoyance, anger, self-doubt, stress, or even affect our health and ability to survive well. Whether you are suffering from a divorce, or a painful break-up, don’t know who to trust (or who to CHOOSE) as a partner, friend, boss or employee - the anxiety of relationship troubles can really make a mess of things. Maybe you’ve suffered a betrayal, or are dealing with hostility or criticalness or invalidation. Dwindling relationships can involve destructive behavior, where we hurt those we love, or start succumbing to self-destructive thoughts, attitudes or behaviors that spiral out of control and affect much more than our immediate relationship. Past losses in love or life can affect how we act or react to new people and situations and hold us back from even starting to create new, possibly great relationships! How can one get back onto a saner course of action? Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life: human relationships! Break free from self imposed limitations Here we will discuss: • How to “erase” the trauma of past hurts and betrayals so that one isn’t always repeating past mistakes. • Why and how do the negative emotions of others affect you? • Why is my partner withdrawing and what can I do about it? • Why do we sometimes feel compelled to hurt the ones we love? • Fights & arguments - what's really behind them? • What underlies “corrosive criticism” or the need to invalidate self or others? • How one can stably change one’s outlook on life so they can affect positive change? • Where do compulsive destructive behaviors come from and what can be done about them? • How to form closer bonds & keep growing the relationships with the people you care about? • How to enhance one’s own ability to survive and create positive healthy relationships whether in love, family & friendships or in work, business or one’s career? Relationships can be hard and life itself IS challenging. Why not arm yourself with the knowledge and breakthroughs that have been made about the mind, mental reactions & interpersonal relationships, so that one has better awareness and control over themselves and life in general. Learn where painful experiences are “stored” and how they can unknowingly affect us. You will also find out how one can “erase” those past painful experiences so that one is free to move forward without being tripped up by the past. Learn too, about what can lead some people to become “toxic” personalities and how to identify those traits in others so you won’t be tripped up trusting the wrong person. Our free Meet-ups occur in a safe environment where one can learn, without fear of judgment or criticism, and without the recommendation of harmful mental techniques or therapies, just how YOU can get yourself onto a happier & more successful path: in love & in life. We look forward to having you join us! This class is sponsored by the Dianetics & Scientology Life Improvement Center of Central Ohio.
