A 2‑hour painting session focused on colorizing 3D‑printed models. **About this course** This workshop is designed to introduce participants to the world of painting 3D‑printed objects such as busts, masks, figurines, and miniatures. Whether you want to learn techniques for smooth gradients, realistic textures, weathering, metallic finishes, or character detailing, this course will guide you through every step. You can join at any time. Each session is self‑contained and suitable for all skill levels. All essential painting materials are provided, and you are welcome to bring your own brushes or paints if you prefer. The workshop is hosted by visual artist Miltos Despoudis. **How much does it cost?** See options below: Member Pass (8 × Lessons, 2 hours each): 100 € Includes: * up to 4 small 3D models of small size to print * special low‑cost 3D printing prices * storage space for your ongoing prints or projects * prepaid lesson tickets are valid for 3 months Single Drop‑In Pass 1 × Lesson (2 hours): 15 € **How do I subscribe?** Reserve a spot here and simply show up at the event. Payment is done on‑site. Please confirm your attendance so we can prepare the appropriate materials and printing resources. **What do I need?** All painting supplies are provided. Optionally you may bring your own 3d print models or art tools. There will be ready-to-paint small 3d prints at the session. These are given for free. For custom ones you need to book for the Member's Pass. **More Info** Sessions happen weekly. Das alte T-Shirt mit einem Statement-Print wiederbeleben, eine verlorene Spielfigur nachdrucken oder einen Stempel designen: MeetUp im Humboldt Forum! In diesem dreistündigen Workshop sind alle Interessierten mit und ohne Vorkenntnisse dazu eingeladen, verschiedene Maker Space Technologien kennenzulernen. Wir erklären an unterschiedlichen Terminen (s.u.), wie sich mit Laser Cutter, 3D-Drucker, Schneidplotter, Näh- oder Stickmaschine nützliche Dinge für den Alltag herstellen lassen. Inspiriert von den aktuellen Ausstellungen und Themen des Hauses, können am Laptop mit der Software Inkscape oder Tinkercad eigene Grafiken und Objekte entworfen und gestaltet werden. Wer sich geschickt anstellt, kann am Ende ein fertiges Produkt mit nach Hause nehmen. Die Personenzahl ist begrenzt. Von Arduino bis zu komplett selbst entwickelten High-End Schaltungen sind wir für alle kreativen Ideen offen. Wir haben auch Gruppen rund um das Nähen, Programmieren, Retro Computer. Wir treffen uns immer am Dienstag und am Freitag ab 18:00 Uhr. Egal ob Anfänger oder Profi – hier seid Ihr jederzeit Willkommen. Ihr könnt mit anderen fachsimpeln oder auch mit unserer Hilfe Eure ersten elektronischen Gehversuche starten. The event is free and open to all, regardless of age, origin, gender or experience. The jam is an opportunity to meet likeminded people and get creative together in a relaxed and safe environment. Beginners and first-timers should feel especially welcome! WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT? **Bring a laptop** and/or anything you’d like to work on, whether it’s a personal project, an experiment, or a skill you want to learn. You can come with friends or meet new people here. There’s no set agenda: some people code, some sketch ideas, some collaborate, and others just chat and get inspired. SCHEDULE Doors open at noon, then we’ll have quick introductions so everyone can share what they’re planning to work on.
