From Brooklyn Strategist Evening Events Meetup

Every Saturday night we run Games With Strangers. Grab a drink or dinner, meet some new people, and learn a new game. Our game expert will teach you our featured games for the night and introduce you to your fellow players. We run games of all levels, from the lightest of the light to the ones that need four hours and a book. Each week we feature two games. Run a kingdom, build a farm, assemble your heroes, or craft the best story, but, whatever you do, come do it with us.

Friday Evening Scrabble

Friday Evening Scrabble

Fri, Jun 5, 10:30 PM
From NYC Bogglers and Scrabblers
4.6

Okay gang. Let's play our favorite word game. Whole Foods Hudson Yards is at 450 West 33rd Street in midtown Manhattan. Let's give this location a try. Take a train to 34 Street and walk west or the 7 train to Hudson Yards. The crosstown bus 34 (not 34A) heading west stops at Dyer Avenue. The entrance is near 31 Street and 10th Avenue. You may want to check mta.info for disruptions in service. We'll be upstairs on the 2nd floor. There is an escalator and elevator for those who wish to use it. Look left when you get to the second floor. For this meetup we will play Scrabble only, no Boggle. I will have Scrabble sets. You may bring a set of your own if you wish, along with a pen or pencil. I will have dictionaries, cheat sheets and sweet treats for bingos. A couple of ground rules. Make a purchase. A good variety of just about everything. Menu at www.wholefoodsmarket.com If you RSVP and cannot attend, change your RSVP to NO This will be a good meetup. I sense that. So RSVP and let's do this.

Queer Board Game Night

Queer Board Game Night

Sun, Jun 21, 11:00 PM
From Brooklyn Strategist Evening Events Meetup
4.7

The Brooklyn Strategist is your friendly community board game cafe. We love seeing you for Magic drafts, games of Malifaux, RPG campaigns, and talking about the character from your RPG campaign even if you aren't actually playing today. But you know what we also love? Board games! The best of the best. So why not come down to your community board game store to play board games with your community!? Queer Board Game Night is our monthly meetup for queer gamers to try the best of our 700+ game library and to hang out with the coolest people in Brooklyn (by our reckoning, anyway). Our host Finlay will get you settled and make sure you have everything you need to get conquering, guessing, and/or farming and our cafe will ensure that you have a beer or dinner to keep you at your best. Now let's play some games!
