**Urban Climb Blackburn** Never climbed before? No worries at all! You're very welcome here! Just complete a quick safety induction when you arrive and the staff will walk you through everything you need to know to climb safely indoors. It's easy, friendly, and won't take long. The venue has plenty to enjoy, including a bouldering cave, speed wall, sauna facilities, and sparkling water to keep you going. This group is primarily focused on rope climbing, top roping and lead climbing, but if you'd prefer to stick to bouldering while you find your feet, that's absolutely fine too! Many of our members have their lead pass and gear, but there's no pressure at all. **Finding us:** If you arrive on time, look for us gathered around the couches in the bouldering area. We're a friendly bunch, so just come and say hi! Running a little late? No stress, just let the staff up the front know you're with the Climb Meetup group and they'll make an announcement. Someone will come and find you and introduce you around. A few of our regulars also wear a black shirt with the old logo, so keep an eye out for those. **A note on numbers:** The meetup runs every Monday and many regular members come along independently without RSVPing through the group, so the crowd is often bigger than it looks on the attendee list! The Monthly Pinoy Social is a meet-up held every month in the city. From 7 to 9.30 pm, it is an opportunity to meet other pinoys and enjoy a chat and drinks. The Asian Beer Cafe is at Melbourne Central so it is very easy to get to by train. Dinners cost between $10 to $20. Some attendees eat and some don't. Drinks are cheap compared to other venues in the city area and everyone is responsible for buying own food and drinks. Afterwards some go home and some go out for dinner. As we are in the city, there are many places to go out afterwards. Kita-kits!

【Itinerary】 Day 1: Drive to the Grampians. Please bring your lunch as we will have a picnic when arrived Grampians. Set up our tents at our campsite (Smiths Mill Campground). Do the Chatauqua Peak Loop hike (6km), then Hiking to Balconies lookout, Boroka lookout, enjoy the sunset. Back to campsites for cooking and dinner. Day2: Sunrise if you can get up early. Pack the tents. Do the Mount Rosea track hike (12km) Drive back to Melbourne 【Cost】 $20 including campsite fee, group management fee. After the bank transfer, I will add you to the Facebook Messenger group for this trip to discuss hike, camping, and car pooling. 【Car Pooling 】 To be environment-friendly and cost-effective, we help with carpooling. We regularly watch the snow reports for snowfall reports. === Mount Buller snow season bus trip === Note: despite our name (New To Melbourne!) we get a lot of locals and non-foreigners - especially for this service (our snow transport). The Mount Buller snow field / resort is a must see during winter and is incredible for Instagram photos - but it’s for a very limited part of the year. === What’s included === This is a 1 day bus transfer to Mount Buller (with return back to Melbourne). We are travelling in a comfortable 57 seat coach (bus) with air-conditioning / heating. Included in your ticket is also the “gate entry” (which is normally $50 or so). We are probably the most affordable transport option to the snow (as we are with our other trips). We’ll meet at the Lakeside Stadium Carpark at 8:45am and set off at 9:00am sharp for an easy paced social walk around the beautiful surrounds of Albert Park Lake. The walk follows the lakeside trail through peaceful paths, open parkland and palm lined sections, with sweeping views of the Melbourne city skyline, plenty of fresh air and great conversation along the way. There will be natural opportunities to pause, take in the views, enjoy the calm atmosphere of the lake and connect with others as we explore this well loved Melbourne landmark. The total walk is approximately 5km and is expected to take around 1.5 hours, depending on the group pace and any short stops along the way. This is a social paced walk, meaning we stick together, keep things relaxed and make space for conversation and connection throughout. After the walk, anyone who would like to can stay around for a coffee and chat nearby. This walk goes ahead rain, hail or shine. **WHAT TO EXPECT** Expect an easy, friendly and social walk with a relaxed pace. Albert Park Lake offers a beautiful mix of lakeside paths, open green spaces, birdlife, city views and a calm Sunday morning atmosphere. It is a perfect setting for people who want to get outside, move their body and meet good people. This walk is not a race and it is not about fitness pressure. It is about connection, movement and starting the day well. **WHO CAN COME** Everyone is welcome. Whether you come on your own, with a friend, or you are brand new to Social Walks, we would love to have you join us. We will meet at Sandringham Railway station entrance. We will ride to a genuine Burger Joint while there is good light then enjoy a wonder smashed burger with chips cooked in tallow The owner buys his meat from a local butcher and is very passionate about his ingredients . I believe his sauce is to die for, well we will find out ! It's then a short ride to Victoria Park Railway station. Any type of bicycle will do as it is on roads and cycle paths. Bring water . Your bike needs to be in good order with l front + back lights and wet weather gear if the forecast is for rain. When riding outside suburbia remember that carrying too much water is better than not enough as the distances between water availability may vary greatly from the planned route due to road closures or other unforeseen circumstances. Check Meetup for any changes the day before the ride, as the ride may be cancelled in the event of extreme weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
