Roseville to Lindfield

This walk follows Moores Creek through several reserves in East Roseville and East Lindfield. The track is named after Australia's 7th Prime Minster, who once lived in the area. The walk explores the ferns and sandstone overhangs of the area, and there are several small waterfalls on Moore creek, which are worth the very short detour to visit. We head up to Lindfield via the Two Creeks track. Lunch will be at Gelatimo Gelateria & Espresso Bar on the Pacific Highway. Trains leave for the city from Lindfield station on a regular basis. Start Location: Meet opposite Roseville station exit in Hill St Transport: T1 train to Roseville station Distance: 11 km Terrain: Majority on bush tracks with some walking on streets at the start and end. Medium-Hard: uneven surfaces, need to take extreme care and be hike fit. Few get out points. Great North Walk Thornleigh to Chatswood 18km medium

Fabulous walk along the Great North Walk trail from Thornleigh Station to Chatswood Sation about 18km and a few small ups/downs but lovely bush trails ## Lane Cove National Park & The Great North Walk Sydney is incredibly fortunate to harbor a significant number of national parks right within its metropolitan boundaries. Among the most central is **Lane Cove National Park**, which begins less than 10 kilometers from the CBD as the crow flies. While surrounding suburban development has introduced some weed encroachment along the creeklines, the park beautifully preserves a wealth of original, pristine bushland across its ridges and valleys. For walkers looking to explore this pocket of wilderness, a prime section of the iconic **Great North Walk**—the massive track linking Sydney to Newcastle—cuts directly through the heart of the valley. This specific route follows the peaceful, non-tidal waters of the Lane Cove River, tracing the valley from the weir at Fullers Bridge all the way up to the northern watershed near Thornleigh. Weekend Sunset Bushwalk - Wollstonecraft to North Sydney ~11 km

**Join us for a scenic Sunset bushwalk exploring Gore Creek, Coal Loader, and Blues Point.** This moderately paced 2-hour hike offers stunning views with a mix of bushland, parks, and streets. **It has** **many inclines,** and **a good fitness level is essential to walk 4.5 km/h for 2+ hours**. **Here's what you need to know:** * **Start time:** 4:00 PM sharp, please arrive by 3:55 PM. Finish around 6:30 PM. * **Meeting point:** Wollstonecraft Station Park, outside Platform 2. * **Route:** Our walk starts with a bushwalk through Gore Creek, then heads to Berry Island for a quick stop to take in the views. We'll continue through bush trails towards the Coal Loader, passing Oyster Cove, then follow the Balls Head track before finishing at North Sydney Station (near Metro) via Waverton Park and Lavender Bay.
