The 10th RPG Event: Melting Away the Hours (Kids On Bikes)

The 10th RPG Event: Melting Away the Hours (Kids On Bikes)

Sat, Apr 25, 3:00 PM
From Barcelona Role Playing Games (RPGs) Meetup (in English)
4.8

**THE RPG EVENT** We are pleased to announce the tenth RPG event of the **Barcelona Roleplaying Community**, where we'll have 10 tables with totally different and unique games. Everyone is welcome to join, from experts to first-time players; no experience is needed or knowledge about the system. We will play in **ENGLISH**. The cost of participation is **10 EURO**, which you will pay at the entrance. **THE ADVENTURE**: Melting Away the Hours **GAME MASTER**: Tatiana **SYSTEM**: Kids On Bikes **DESCRIPTION**: It's the good life, growing up in early 1990s Figueres, Spain. You've got lots of friends to hang out with at the arcade, the gelateria, and the futbol fields. School either rules or drools, depending on how much of a nerd you are. Oh, and all your parents work for the Dali Theatre-Museum and Mausoleum, by far the most important building in town. They're all talking about The Persistence of Memory (the famous painting with the melting clocks), and how exciting it is that for the first time ever, it's coming home to be displayed. But you and your friends notice something else, when you pull up together on your bikes: all the clocks in town are wrong. All showing different times, all going at different speeds, and all... slowly... melting. Is life imitating art? Or is something weirder going on? You will select a premade character based on a teen trope. I'll bring more sheets than people so you can choose which you like best. And don't worry if you're not too familiar with Dali's work; everything will be (to the best of my ability) described using theater of the mind. **PLACE**: We will play at the [ARCHIVO ARCANO](https://www.archivoarcano.com/). Please, wait next to the entrance where you will be welcomed and guided by one of the organizers. **DRINKS & FOOD**: You can purchase drinks at the place, but you are NOT ALLOWED to bring them from outside. You CAN bring your own food. You even should do that ;). If you don't do that there will be an option to buy some snacks at the place or get a sandwich in the restaurant nearby. \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- **IF YOU HAVEN'T JOINED THE GAME IN TIME** At the moment, there is no waiting list. If a player drops out, we will reopen the event and announce it on Discord (and possibly on Meetup). Players who arrive more than **15 minutes late** will automatically forfeit their spot, which will then be offered to people waiting at the venue. If you decide to show up without a reserved place, you may still be able to join a table if a spot becomes available. \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- **IF YOU ARE NEW TO THE BARCELONA ROLEPLAYING COMMUNITY** Join us at [DISCORD](https://discord.gg/vNWpsp99db)
