The hike itself would go through the Reintal valley. During the hike we would pass the impressive Partnachklamm gorge, the secluded Reintal valley, the Reintalangerhütte and at the evening would approach Knorrhütte. It is possible to have a nice lunch there, at their restaurant, So, you do not need to carry on food with you. During the day we would gain around 1400 meters. * **Day 2 (Hike distance <10 km)** – After the early breakfast at the hut, we would start our hike to summit. Although it is quite short, we would gain another 870 meters to reach the summit at around mid-day. After relaxing at the top and enjoying the pristine beauty of the majestic and mighty mountains, we will use the cable car to go down to the city. Discovering the Rich Heritage of the Meudon Forest

We will start by discovering its old hydraulic network built at the end of the 17th century to supply the fountains and basins of Meudon castle (since disappeared). This network was completely abandoned but has since been rehabilitated. It is mainly composed of ponds, channels and bridges. Then we will end our hike with a visit to Hangar Y, another abandoned and rehabilitated site. We will have picnic in the Maintenon palace where the empress Joséphine stayed. We meet at **09:45 Rueil-Malmaison RER A, outside exit 1. We leave at 10:00** Have your lunch with you. 🌳 🌳 🌳 Petits sentiers en pleine nature, cours d’eau, anciens ponts de pierre en forêt et patrimoine méconnu dans le parc naturel de la Vallée de Chevreuse.
