We begin with a short and gentle breathwork exercise to regulate the body, calm the nervous system, and bring attention inward. This prepares the transition into meditation. This is followed by a 15–20 minute introduction to the meditation practice. During this phase, I explain the core principles of meditation and assign each participant a personal meditation task, tailored to their individual level of experience. The intention of this part is to create clarity, inner orientation, and a sense of safety for the silent practice. We then enter a first phase of silent meditation. After approximately 15–20 minutes, the silence is intentionally interrupted by a short walking meditation.
