Jhana Meditation for Beginners

Buzz for CCB studios and then walk through to the second courtyard. We will try to start right around 10. There will be tea available.
Please dress in comfortable clothes, maybe wearing a few layers. Theres some blankets, yoga mats, cushions and chairs in the room that you can use.
The plan will be for us to do some small discussions at the top and then start discussing theory before doing some meditations of increasing length and then closing with some time for Q & A. We will take a short break in the middle as well. The plan is to go from 10-12 roughly but we may end a little closer to 11:30 depending.
This week will function primarily as a simple introduction to meditation and some topics in the space but we will also discuss what the Jhanas are.

There is no partner work. Each woman remains in her own space throughout the session. All touch is self-guided and completely optional.

My name is Alicja and I'll be taking over as the host of Mindful Mingle.
I’m really glad to step into this role and continue what Behnam has built over the years − a community of empaths of all walks of life and ages coming together to connect and share their experiences. It feels both exciting and a little challenging but on the other side of fear is freedom and I'm willing to take that leap.
In the past, I held space for women's circles for two years before I moved to Berlin so it’s meaningful for me to return to something I care deeply about − this time in a mixed group, which I’ve been wanting to explore for a while.

Introduction to Tantra - a workshop for beginners
What is Tantra? How does Tantra differ from other spiritual or self-development practices? What is the role of sexuality in Tantra? What are the core principles of Tantra? Can Tantra be practiced alone or is it mainly for couples? How does Tantra enhance personal and spiritual growth?
This 4-hour workshop is designed specifically for beginners who are curious about Tantra and want to get a first taste of its profound teachings. With the aim to demystify, we’ll address common questions and misconceptions through both discourse and direct experience.
After the introduction round and discourse, you’ll be invited to practice a series of guided exercises designed to deepen your comprehension of Tantra's core principles. These practices include active meditation, energy practices and both solo- and partnered exercises, allowing you to tap in to an embodied experience of the teachings. The hosts, meditators and Kriya Yoga initiates for over 50 years, are direct disciples of Yogacharya J. Oliver Black one of Paramahansa Yogananda's most advanced male disciples. He is the founder of Golden Lotus, Inc., which owns & operates 'Song of the Morning' an 800 acre Yoga Retreat Northest of Gaylord, MI on the Pigeon River. Paramahansa Yogananda founded Self Realization Fellowship, headquartered in Los Angeles, CA and is the author of the Spritual Classic, 'Autobiography of a Yogi.'
