The **Queer Meditation Group** provides **LGBTQIA+** individuals, with a safe space to engage in an exploratory approach to meditation through gentle body tuning, breath awareness and conscious sitting practice.
Each of the facilitators will bring their experiences in Mindfulness, Zen, Vipassana and other forms of meditation.
The body-mind and the senses are explored as doorways into meditation. The purpose of this exploration is to become more conscious of your Self at many levels. Beginning wherever we are, this approach to meditation has an open goal of harmonizing with the present moment. The focus is on slowing down, unwinding tension and relaxing the nervous system.
**General Information:**
* Previous meditation experience is not necessary.
* This event will be in German and/or English depending on participant needs.
* The Queer Meditation Group is leaded by a rotating group of four facilitators.

Die **Queere Meditationsgruppe** bietet einen sicheren und inklusiven Raum für **LGBTQIA+** Personen, um sich durch sanfte Körperabstimmung, Atemachtsamkeit und bewusste Sitzpraxis auf einen erkundenden Ansatz zur Meditation einzulassen.
Jeder der Leiter\* bringt Erfahrungen mit Achtsamkeit, Zen, Vipassana und anderen Formen der Meditation mit ein. Vorherige Meditationserfahrung ist nicht erforderlich.
Der Körper-Geist und die Sinne werden als Eingangstor zur Meditation erforscht. Das Ziel dieser Erkundung ist es, sich seines Selbst auf vielen Ebenen bewusster zu werden. Ausgehend von dem Ort, an dem wir uns gerade befinden, hat dieser Meditationsansatz das offene Ziel, mit dem gegenwärtigen Moment in Einklang zu kommen und sich zu verlangsamen, Spannungen abzubauen und das Nervensystem zu entspannen.

Laugh without Reason Event (DE/EN)
Important information: The event will always take place regardless of how many people attend the meetup. There is always a second laughter yoga conductor (Heidi) and a couple of other regulars who don't use Meetup.
Laughter Yoga is a unique concept that combines laughter exercises with yoga breathing to promote wellness and overall happiness. You will learn how to laugh without reason. The event is perfect for anyone looking to de-stress, boost their mood, and connect with others in a light-hearted and fun way. You don't need any yoga experience, just the willingness to laugh.
**Do I need special clothing?**
* Just wear comfortable clothes. Please bring some thick socks or clean shoes for the room.
**Do I need anything else?**
* It is essential to stay hydrated. **Please bring some water**.

**Is it free?**
* Participation costs 5€. Alternatively, you can use Urban Sports Club. These costs are mainly used to cover rent for the room, meetup fees, website, insurance, flyers, etc.

**What does an event look like?**
* We incorporate laughter exercises, breathing exercises, playful exercises, positive affirmations, and dancing. The event ends with a laughter meditation of \~ 15 minutes.
**What if I can't laugh?**
* Everything is voluntary. If you can't laugh, you can simulate it, and usually, people get into genuine laughter during the sessions. Laughter yoga is a great way to laugh more, to laugh deeper, and more frequently!
**How many people show up?**
* Usually, the group size is between 7 and 20 people. Regardless how many people sign up via meetup, the event will always take place. Many people don't sign up via meetup.
**Where is it?**
* It's close to U2 Märkisches Museum. The Kreativhaus Berlin Mitte has one entrance. Please be there 5 minutes before we start. After 7 pm, it might be closed, and you either have to ring the bell or go around the house and watch out for the yellow smiley flag. The session takes place in "Projektraum 2/3".
Sessions are either in German or English. We always make sure that everyone understands it.

Vinyasa Flow in Mitte / Wedding
These vinyasa classes are positively dynamic, soft and strong as silk, always connecting to the deep, guiding you gently to the awareness of your breath to calm the mind and release the body of unnecessary tension.
Modifications of the poses are offered to better suit each practitioner, from experienced beginners to advanced. Taping into a background of cultural diversity, dance and massage therapy, these sessions are a holistic practice with asanas, free form movement, music, voice, and silence.
Each month the classes have a specific focus (i.e. twists, balance, resilience, chakras) to effectively process and develop the connection between mind, body, and spirit.

Marianne Schmidt, born to german parents in India, raised across the globe, she calls Berlin home. She is the founder of Soul Treats and works as a certified massage therapist, yoga instructor and life coach.
Marianne has been offering yoga classes and massage therapy for over eleven years. Fascinated by human anatomy and the connection between the psyche and the physical, her education is an ongoing process. Taping into many methods of body work, she treats clients and students holistically, by aligning the physical body with the aim of restoring balance on the emotional and energetical levels.
Dancing and performing since a yoga age, her yoga classes always include elements of dance, movement research and breath work.

**Kursbeschreibung Traditioneller Tantra Yoga Kurs**
Tantra Yoga ist weit mehr als Erotik mit Räucherstäbchen, wie es heutzutage in der westlichen Welt oft fälschlicherweise präsentiert wird. Tantra Yoga ist die Wissenschaft des Universums, die Wissenschaft des Lebens. Es bietet uns ein tiefes Verständnis der Funktionsweisen des Universums und seiner Prinzipien.
Wer die Tantra Yoga Lehre für sich umsetzt, fängt an zu begreifen warum die Dinge so sind wie sie sind – und wie man genau das für die eigene spirituelle Entwicklung nutzen kann. Für einen Tantriker ist alles eins, ein großes kosmisches Ganzes, in das sich alle Wesen und alle Phänomene eingliedern. Und wenn alles aus einem großen Ganzen, einem einzigen heiligen, schöpferischen Bewusstsein hervorgeht, gibt es nichts das nicht heilig wäre.
Wer Tantra Yoga lebt, begreift das Leben als einen Schöpfungsprozess, als ein göttliches Spiel, dessen Ziel es ist zurück zu kehren in die Glückseligkeit der Einheit mit allem. Auf diese Weise werden der Weg zur Arbeit, der neue Geschäftsabschluss, das Liebesspiel und sogar emotionale Regungen wie Unzufriedenheit u. ä. zum Antrieb ständigen Wachstums und zum Grund glückseliger Fröhlichkeit. Tantra Yoga nennt das Leben eine Achterbahn, und Achterbahn fahren macht Spaß – egal ob wir gerade den Berg hoch oder runter rauschen!

This group is dedicated to **Conscious Connected Breathwork**, a powerful somatic practice for deep emotional release (nervous system release). Intense states of awareness are possible.
Through **conscious, connected breathing**, rhythmic music, and guided facilitation, participants are invited to access deeper layers of awareness, release stored stress and emotions, and reconnect with their inner resources.
There are **no substances involved**. The work is grounded, body-based, and trauma-aware.

\#\#\# Was ist Breathwork?
Conscious Breathwork bedeutet bewusstes atmen. Und das ist es letztendlich auch, was wir etwa 70 Minuten lang machen werden. In einer Breathwork Session geht es vor allem darum, dass Du loslassen, Dich entspannen und mit Dir selbst und Deinem Unterbewusstsein verbinden kannst. Das geht am besten, in dem Du gar nichts erwartest und nicht so viel dadrüber nachdenkst. ✨

Nach einem kurzen Check-In beginnen wir mit der Session. Die Atmung kann im Liegen oder Sitzen statt finden, ganz nach Deiner Wahl. Du wirst durch ein bewegendes Musikset geführt, wodurch Du in eine Trance-Atemmeditation gelangst. Hier kannst Du unter anderem diese Erfahrungen machen:

This session combines gentle breathwork with a guided feminine embodiment practice in a safe and respectful space for women.
We will explore slow, conscious breathing and simple, self-guided touch over clothing in the heart, chest and lower belly area. The focus is body awareness, presence and reconnection with yourself.
There is no partner work. Each woman remains in her own space throughout the session. All touch is self-guided and completely optional.
Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to relax and move freely.
This is a beginner-friendly practice. No prior experience with breathwork or embodiment work is required.
The intention of this evening is not intensity, but reconnection.
Not performance, but awareness.

Calm and Clear - Buddhist Meditation in English

The hosts, meditators and Kriya Yoga initiates for over 50 years, are direct disciples of Yogacharya J. Oliver Black one of Paramahansa Yogananda's most advanced male disciples. He is the founder of Golden Lotus, Inc., which owns & operates 'Song of the Morning' an 800 acre Yoga Retreat Northest of Gaylord, MI on the Pigeon River. Paramahansa Yogananda founded Self Realization Fellowship, headquartered in Los Angeles, CA and is the author of the Spritual Classic, 'Autobiography of a Yogi.'
