Swansea, the other side of High Park (5.5 km)
Swansea was a village with its own town hall, fire station, and even historical society. This hike runs through whatever is left standing from that era, and also a quick jaunt into the least-visited part of High Park. The park's northeastern edge doesn't have much attractions and is relatively inaccessible, so that's where we'll go to avoid the crowds.
The crowds will probably be gawking at cherry blossoms on the east bank of Grenadier Pond. If you're into that, visit before or after the hike.
For food, there's a handful of notable places near the start and end. There's no distinct theme around High Park. In contrast, Bloor West Village has Ukrainian businesses—bakeries but no restaurants, so we'll settle down at a new Tibetan momo restaurant at the end of the hike.
**Highlights**
1. Bennett Park (depart 6:30pm)
2. Usagi Sushi / Ohana
3. High Park Playground
4. David H Williams Clubhouse (depart 7:10pm)
5. Upscale houses along Ellis Avenue
6. Former Swansea Town Hall / Toronto Fire Station 425
7. Runnymede United Church
8. Momo Ghar (arrive 8pm)
**Neighbourhoods**
High Park > Swansea > Bloor West Village

**How it works**
Hike starts punctually. Late or can't do the whole route? Meet us at scheduled checkpoints.
We'll browse some food places but won't linger long. See the route in advance, organize takeout, then pickup along the way.

**Event Details:**
* **Location:** CSI Spadina - 192 Spadina Ave., Toronto, ON M5T 2C2. Viola Desmond room on the 3rd floor
* **Date and Time:** May 13, 2026, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
* **Topic:** Experimenting with Claude Design.

We'll look at:
* Generating a design system from a Figma file
* Iterating with the tweaks panel and edit mode
* Prototyping UI from existing code and screenshots
* Where Claude Design fits alongside Figma and Claude Code
**Your Voice Matters:**

A monthly healing space where we gather to tend the pieces of ourselves and weave them back into wholeness that we are. Each session opens with a Soulbits oracle image setting the tone for the gathering we will move through. We will come together to honor the natural rhythms of rooting, rising, releasing, and receiving; the cycles that shape the soul’s journey.
Through the four pillars of being: mindset, movement, connection & nourishment, we will create a space where imagery, sensation, and community weave together. Where the body becomes the guide, images act as mirrors, and the soul speaks. This circle is about noticing what rises, honoring what’s true, and reconnecting with the parts of yourself ready to be seen.
This is a space to gather your scattered pieces, soften your body, and return to your truth with community by your side. Soulbits Circle is a reminder that every fragment of your story, every soulbit, belongs. Together we weave them into the blooming wholeness that you are.
