Watercolor Day is a hands-on workshop designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of watercolor in a clear, practical, and approachable way. Through a series of guided exercises, youâll learn how watercolor behaves and how to use its qualities to create expressive paintings.
Weâll begin with simple studies focused on water control, tone, color mixing, and washes. Once youâve become familiar with the medium, youâll practice essential watercolor techniques such as wet-on-wet painting, glazing, layering, and creating textures.
In the second part of the workshop, youâll apply these skills to create a finished watercolor painting.

**No, the hike is not canceled! We will cut it short if need be but Iâm confident we can do this! One of the last times (Feb.) it was 12 degrees and three of us showed up and had a fantastic time. Iâm confident this hike will be the same :). Just bring water!**
**Hike the Scioto Audubon trail. All paved and flat!**
**Plan on 3-4 miles. Hike at your own pace, no one left behind.**

Hi ladies. We will meet in front of the Nature Center and head to the two Observation decks. We will then hike Hickory Ridge, Ripple Rock, Overlook and Sugarbush trails to get approximately four miles total distance. We will walk approximately a 18 minute mile pace. Please wear appropriate hiking shoes.
