Description 呼七盘八 (Hū Qī Pán Bā) is a rhythmic breathwork method rooted in traditional Daoist breathing practice. The name refers to a specific inhale-exhale ratio pattern (exhale in 7 counts, circulate in 8) designed to stimulate the body's natural energy circulation and bring the nervous system into a state of deep rest and renewal. In this guided session, you will be introduced to the foundational breathing sequence, practiced lying or seated in a comfortable position. Many participants report a profound sense of calm, tingling warmth, or emotional release during and after the practice. No special equipment or prior breathing practice is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to be still. For the past **4 years**, this has been one of our favorite summer traditions: a beautiful half-day urban retreat in the heart of Zurich, created to help you slow down, reconnect and nourish yourself on every level. The evening begins with a gentle **Restorative Yoga** practice (suitable for all levels), followed by a deeply transformative **Conscious Connected Breathwork** journey and a soothing **Sound Bath**. Whether you’re brand new to yoga or a long time practitioner, this class is designed to help you slow down, stretch, breathe, and reconnect with yourself. Expect a relaxed, accessible flow focused on easing tension, moving mindfully, and leaving you feeling a little more grounded. All levels welcome! Bring water and a yoga mat (or towel if you don’t have a mat). A suggested donation of $10 is appreciated, but payment is absolutely not required to attend and enjoy class. A Venmo QR code will be available on-site for anyone who would like to contribute. The class duration will be one hour from 10-11am. Since many of us haven't yet had the opportunity to meet, we'll begin by getting to know one another and sharing what brought us to this community. We'll also explore one of the most common challenges many women experience during this season of life: sleep. Whether you're navigating insomnia, waking up in the middle of the night, racing thoughts, night sweats, exhaustion, burnout, or simply not feeling rested, you're not alone. This will be a relaxed, low-pressure coffee shop meetup focused on connection and conversation. No need to prepare anything. No pressure to share. Come as you are.
