Meet up, Warm up, and Get Moving to Get Fit :)
We will start the session with some light stretching exercises to warm us up, and help to prepare us for the run. The pace of the run will be steady, depending on who is running with us on the day.
Days when we have a large group we may break into multiple groups, each operating independently at their own pace.
Saturdays are good for intermediate runners, and is usually a 10km run, again at a steady pace.
If you're looking to get into running, come along on Tuesday or Thursday mornings and I will coach you, at your pace, to get you up to running (jogging) to 5km without stops. The only thing I will ask, if you're a beginner, is that you're able to walk for approx 30 minutes at a relaxed pace.
PLEASE NOTE: That, if you RSVP a particular event, then please ensure that you attend, as there may be other members relying on you for company on the run.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Any run or activity that you participate in with the group will be at your own risk.
Usually we have a post run (after our cool down) coffee in the Dash container at the Hole in the Wall pub.

**The perfect way to spend a Saturday? Active walk, socialising & Saturday Market!**
In May we are bringing you a Saturday morning filled with fresh air, local exploration, and genuine connection.
This time we’re heading south to explore the hidden corners of Bushy Park and the banks of the River Dodder.
📍 Where we meet:
We’re gathering at the entrance close to the **Bushy Park House** at **11:00 AM**. We’ll hang around until 11:15 to make sure everyone finds us! Your hosts **Maja, Norbert & Stephen** will be there to welcome you (a visual guide will be sent to your inbox a day before the walk!).
***
🥾 The Journey:
We’ve curated a route that ensures we won't take the same path twice! Expect a "leisure stroll" pace—this isn't a race; it's about being present.
* **The Route:** A 6km loop starting at the Bushy Park House bus stop. It’s mostly flat with a few steps along the way.
* **The Twist:** We’ve prepared a small **Treasure Hunt** for you to keep your eyes peeled and your mind engaged! 🏴☠️📦
* **The Destination:** We’ll finish up at the vibrant **Saturday Food Market**. It's the perfect spot to grab some lunch or an ice cream and continue the chat! 🍦
***
✨ The Quality Time Vibe:
At Quality Time, we trade distractions for something more fulfilling.
* **Silent Time:** We’ll enjoy 15–25 minutes of intentional silence at a stunning viewpoint to connect with nature.
* **Genuine Connection:** A chance to meet like-minded people who value being present (we will help!)
* **Great Memories:** No phone-checking, but feel free to bring your "normal" camera to capture the greenery! 📷
***
🕰️ The Schedule:
* **11:00 – 11:15 \|** Meet-up at Bushy Park House bus stop.
* **11:15 – 14:00 \|** The Walk & Treasure Hunt: Connection with others & nature.
* **14:00 \|** Arrival at the market for soft goodbyes (or optional social lunch!).
***
🐥 What to bring:
* **👟 Comfortable Shoes:** It’s a 6km stroll, so treat your feet well!
* **🌦️ Layers & Rain Gear:** It’s Ireland—let’s be prepared for all four seasons in one morning.
* **💧 Water & Snacks:** Keep your energy up as we explore.
* **🦮 Pets:** More than welcome! (Please keep them on a lead and bring bags 💩).
* **💛 Yourself:** Just as you are. No "content" needed, just your presence.
***
🎟️ Tickets & Community Support:
This walk is **donation-based**. We believe that intentional, offline time should be accessible to everyone. If you’d like to support our mission and help us continue organising these curated community events, any contribution is warmly welcomed! 💛

Dublin Runners Saturday Morning Run 7km to 16 km
This event is for anyone seeking a social run with like minded people. It will consist of 2 loops. the first loop will be run at 6 20 - 6 30 per km pace and will be about 7 km in length. We will then join with the main Dublin Runners group at 9:00 am back at the Visitors Centre (VC), where a variety of pace options will be available. This second loop will be approximately 10 km to 12 km. So you can choose to join at 8 15 am or 9 00 am. Please arrive 5 mins early as we are firm about start times. We usually finish with tea and cake in the cafe in the VC. If your pace is lower than 6 30 per km for about 8 km this run may not be for you. Some people are using this to prepare for summer 10 mile or half marathon races or to build a base to prepare for the Dublin City marathon in October. We will have a couple of groups preparing for the marathon starting in mid July. If you have any questions contact Harry.
Mixed group run. 10K
Mix of paces in this group from 6:30 min per km to close to 5 min per km.
For those that want to do a longer distance, they will probably start earlier and link up with us for 9AM
If you are doing one of the earlier runs (Such as Harry's run), please sign up for this too.
Ideally we will run the trails if they are not too wet.
Meet near the bus stop at the visitors centre car park.
If you have any question, please get in touch. Appreciate if you can sign up as early as possible. If you have any suggestions for changes, let me know.
Thanks
Shane
5k Run, we may increase the distance as the weeks progress.
IMPORTANT: If you RSVP a particular event, then ensure that you attend, as their may be other members relying on you for company on the run.
Pathfinder back in Dublin (Centra, 44 Westland Row). Looking for new players!
We are a group that plays Pathfinder, a tabletop RPG. We are relaunching the games in Dublin and for that we need new players like you. We will explain the rules to you and help you create your dream character. If you want to join the fun, get in one of the games at [https://warhorn.net/events/ireland-pfs/schedule/2026/05/02](https://warhorn.net/events/ireland-pfs/schedule/2026/05/02)
What do I need?
Just a set of dice and something to take notes.
Do I need a character to play?
We have pregenerated characters of all types that you can use right away.
Do I need to know all the rules?
The basic rules are not difficult, and we can help you get up to speed if you don't know them. Here is a basic guide https://www.simplypf2e.com/simplyplayers
Is this an ongoing adventure?
All Pathfinder Society games are short adventures that can be completed in 3 or 4 hours. They all have their own story and resolution.
It's free, just buy something at the shop if you like.
