El curso comienza con los conceptos básicos para que todos, independientemente de su experiencia o conocimientos previos, puedan acceder fácilmente al amplio campo de la milenaria tradición del yoga y cubre en profundidad una gran variedad de formas de yoga.
La espiritualidad se hace tangible para los participantes del curso a través de la práctica compartida del yoga y las lecciones teóricas (cada semana se entrega material escrito del curso). Para nosotros es muy importante que, tras un tiempo, los participantes del curso de yoga puedan adaptar su práctica de Hatha Yoga a sus necesidades individuales. Además, las técnicas tradicionales de purificación del sistema yóguico y ayurvédico y las prácticas nutricionales yóguicas forman parte de las instrucciones teóricas.

This Vinyasa-based practice is designed to challenge and energize you, while always honouring the individual needs and limits of your body. Expect strong, flowing sequences that build strength, balance and flexibility, woven together with breath and presence.
Each class offers a space to connect body, mind, and soul, not only through movement, but also through meditation and conscious stillness. The practice aims to leave you feeling grounded, spacious and fulfilled, never overwhelmed.
All levels are welcome. Modifications and variations are always offered.

Vinyasa & Sound
Awaken your body and mind as breath meets movement in a flowing, dynamic practice. Each session combines sequences of postures (asanas) with mindful breathing, building strength, flexibility, and balance. Whether you’re a beginner or have experience, this class will help you: improve mobility and posture, increase core strength and stamina, release tension and stress and connect breath with movement for mindfulness. Expect a thoughtful warm-up, flowing sequences, and a calming cooldown to restore energy.
Sound bowls deepen relaxation in Shavasana with calming, healing vibrations. Step onto your mat, move with your breath, and leave feeling both energised and centred.

An diesem Abend werden aufeinander aufbauende Meditationsmethoden angeleitet, und Du bekommst ein tieferes Verständnis davon was Meditation sein kann, jenseits der Methoden.

Heike oder eine andere erfahrene Meditierende leiten die einzelnen Meditations-Sitzungen so an, dass Du Einblicke in das vielfältige Spektrums der Meditation bekommst, ebenso wie eine tiefere Erfahrung davon, was Meditation für Dich sein kann.
Der Praxisabend ist bereichernd für Fortgeschrittene, ist aber auch sehr gut geeignet für Anfänger*innen.

Yoga for Grounding
This class blends the flow of Vinyasa with the steady grounding of Hatha. Through mindful sequencing, we build energy in the body with breath-led movement, then pause to hold selected postures, creating space to explore alignment, stillness, and deeper breathing. The focus on steady holds, conscious transitions, and connection to the breath helps calm the nervous system and bring awareness back to the body.
You’ll work close to the earth - through strong standing poses and stable foundations - cultivating a sense of stability and inner balance.The practice balances effort and ease, inviting both strength and softness, so you leave feeling energised, centred, and deeply rooted.
Open to all levels. This class is held in English.

Meditation (for free) - Nachbarschaftsheim Neukölln
**Silent Meditation**
I've organized a space and have been leading silent meditation sessions there for a few months now. It consists of 20 minutes of sitting meditation, 5 minutes of walking meditation, and then another 20 minutes of sitting meditation.
The idea is simply to have a space and a set time to meditate. You could, in principle, meditate at home, but then you'd rather unload the dishwasher, check your emails, or sort your socks. Besides, it's nice to sit quietly with other people.
The room is a kind of small multipurpose space. It's nicely minimalist, without any frills, Buddha statues, or incense. There are yoga mats and blocks available for sitting. Feel free to bring your own meditation cushion, though.
The meditation sessions take place every Thursday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the group room of the community center in the Körnerkiez neighborhood.
There's no charge (no donations). Just drop by whenever it suits you.

Columbus Comedy Improv Meetup at Gresso's!
Whether you've never done improv before, or you've done it for so long you knew Del Close on a personal level, or anywhere in between, come join us! Swing by *Gresso's* for the **Columbus Improv Comedy Meetup** for some fun and games!
The idea behind improv is to create entire scenes from scratch based on a suggestion from the audience. This can be done in game form, like *Whose Line Is It Anyway*, *ComedySportz*, or *Wild 'n Out*; it could also be done to tell stories, like *Middleditch and Schwartz*. Our meetup, which is central Ohio's longest running (and free!) weekly comedy event, brings the games (and occasionally different forms) for you to play in a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment.
