Gentle Flow & Sound Bath
This nourishing 60-minute session blends a gentle, feel-good yoga flow with immersive sound healing to help you move, breathe, and soften back into yourself.
We begin with a slow, intuitive flow designed to release tension, awaken the body, and create a sense of ease and fluidity. Movements are accessible and adaptable, focusing on grounding, opening the heart, and reconnecting to natural rhythm rather than pushing or striving. Breath awareness guides each transition, allowing the practice to feel both energizing and calming.
As the body settles, the session gradually transitions into a deeply restful sound journey. Using instruments such as singing bowls, chimes and voice gently wash through the nervous system, supporting relaxation, emotional release, and creative flow. You're invited to rest, receive, and simply be.

Calm and Clear - Buddhist Meditation in English
Meet like-minded people, get authentic meditation instructions and hang out in our beautiful Buddhist meditation center in the west of Berlin!
The practice of meditation is a simple, yet profound practice that helps us to connect with ourselves and gives us tools to release experiences of distraction, agitation, and stress. In the Buddhist tradition, meditation is more than just a way to end the mind´s distraction - it is what helps us to bring our mind home to its true nature.
What better way to experience the colourful facets of meditation than with a group of like-minded people? Hence our open meditation sessions always have a social element as well - we like to have a tea and share about our meditation experiences, or whatever else we want to explore. There is also always the chance to ask questions to our experienced meditation instructors.
These sessions are held in English and open to everyone - complete beginners as well as those with more experience.
The sessions are every week on Friday at 17:00-18:30.

Meditation for the City by August Shells - part of Vorspiel festival
Meditation for the City is a live audiovisual performance engaging breath, attention, and stillness under conditions of constant acceleration.
Digitally processed natural imagery meets live acoustic sound. Together, they form a temporary situation in which bodies can slow down. As recovery. As escape. As a way of noticing what continuous stimulation and extraction tend to suppress.
One part of the performance takes the form of a guided breathing meditation, structured through rhythm and sound. Elsewhere, guidance recedes. Attention is left open.
Meditation is approached here not as a private technique, but as a collective and material practice. One shaped by social and economic conditions. Slowness is not neutral. It is a prerequisite for reflection on how nervous systems are organized, how exhaustion becomes normal, and how ways of living settle into the body.
––– No prior experience with meditation is required. Seating will be available. Visitors are welcome to bring their own yoga mats or cushions if they wish.

## Mantra-Singen und Meditation
Mantra-Singen ist eine meditative Praxis, bei der Klang, Atem und gemeinsames Singen helfen, zur Ruhe zu kommen und wieder bei sich anzukommen. In diesem offenen Kreis singen wir einfache Mantras, begleitet von Gitarre und Stimme.
Du brauchst keine Vorkenntnisse, keine „schöne Stimme“ und keine spirituelle Erfahrung. Du bist eingeladen, so zu kommen, wie du bist, zuzuhören, mitzusingen oder einfach die Schwingung wirken zu lassen.
Der Abend ist geprägt von einer ruhigen, herzoffenen Atmosphäre, gemeinsamer Präsenz und Momenten der Stille. Mantra-Singen kann das Nervensystem beruhigen, den Geist klären und ein Gefühl von Verbundenheit entstehen lassen.

**Über den Gastgeber:**
Omung kommt aus Indien und bringt eine langjährige Praxis aus Satsangs und Mantra-Singkreisen mit. Seit über fünf Jahren begleitet er Mantra-Singen mit Gitarre und Stimme und gestaltet Räume für Präsenz, gemeinsame Schwingung und innere Ruhe. Was in Indien ein natürlicher Teil seines Alltags war, führt er seit seinem Umzug nach Berlin in verschiedenen Gemeinschafts- und Kulturorten weiter - nun auch in eigenen, unabhängigen Mantra-Sing-Abenden.
Traditional Hatha: Breath, Meditation & Sound
Join a 1.5-hour session of traditional Indian Hatha yoga, including pranayama (breath control), meditation, chanting, and sound bowl healing. This practice emphasizes the breath and subtle energy, guiding the individual energy body to merge with the cosmic body and experience a sense of Oneness. Each session focuses on one pranayama technique, allowing you to explore and deepen your connection to your inner energy.

Botanical Meditations: Cultivate calm thru art and plant life
**This workshop brings together meditation, art, and nature to bring about calm and a closer connection to the more-than human world.**
We will explore ways of meditating with plants as our guide and artmaking as our medium of cultivating awareness.
Participate in simple creative exercises that involve playing with words, color, shapes, gestures, and forms to create visual and poetic botanical portraits to take home.
**No previous experience in art or meditation is necessary.**

She has been a regular volunteer host of group meditations at Bodhispace and previously offered the art and meditation workshop “The Year-End Cleanse.”
