**BCRG Tuesday Rides are back!!**

**What to Expect:** This is a challenging group ride designed for fit and experienced cyclists. We'll ride together as a group, either single-file or double-file depending on traffic conditions. This is an interval training ride, meaning we'll push above threshold on the ascents and take it easy on the descents and flat sections. While we wait a few minutes at key points, this is not a beginner ride. Please be prepared to be dropped if you can't keep up with the pace.
**Is This Ride for Me?** While this ride is open to everyone, we ask that you are comfortable riding in groups, have a road bike, and have done rides of similar distance and elevation before. We welcome all newcomers but everyone is expected to be self-sufficient, therefore please bring not only your bike but also sync the route, bring phone, cash and lights.
**Safety:** Ride leaders will do their best to keep the group together, moving smoothly and safely at all times. We'll stop at red lights and obey traffic rules. Ultimate safety starts and ends with everyone riding responsibly, and everyone will be responsible for their own safety. There's no commercial interest behind this event; it's just a bunch of people sharing a fun day out.

Let’s smash that "post-work" fatigue! We are back with our recurring Wednesday or Tuesday session by the **BRCG crew**. This week, we’re meeting at **Lesseps or Arts** to optimize our route and squeeze every last drop of daylight out of the Tuscan-style golden hour over Barcelona. 🌅
We’ll be heading straight for the legendary **Arrabassada**. It’s the perfect playground to test your form, hold those watts, and enjoy the city lights as they start to flicker on below.
**The Mission Details:**
***⏰ When: **Every Wednesday @** 18:00 sharp**.
** *📍 Meet-up: **Placa de Lesseps (on the side of the mountains).***
*** 🚀 The Pace: *Intermediate. **Expect a steady, spirited tempo. We regroup at the top of the main climbs—no one gets left behind in the dark, but be ready to work!
*** 🏔 Route: **Direct assault on Arrabassada to maximize climbing time before the sun dips. The route will be published later
**What to Bring:**
** *🔦 LIGHTS (Non-Negotiable): **High-lumen front and rear lights are** mandatory**. We might be descending in full darkness. No lights, no ride! 🛑
*** 🛠 Essentials: **Helmet, hydration, and your standard flat kit (TPU/tubes/CO2).
** *🧥 Layers: **It gets chilly on the descent once the sun is gone. Bring a gilet or windbreaker.

Hey look, don't get us wrong: we LOVE men. Some of our best friends are men! It's just that we'd like to see more women and non-binary folks have the "I could do that" confidence to get up on stage at comedy open mics. And for those fems and thems already doing comedy to have an open mic where they can really grow and shine.
So AtoMIC Comedy has teamed up with GoViral Comedy AND the one and only Comedy Clubhouse to bring you a bi-monthly open mic where all you need to be funny is a mic and some Big Mic Energy!

• What is it? - This class is for all levels from novice to advanced runners, where we will train you to run fast.
• Where is it? - We meet at Parc Glories next to the big white circle.

• When is it? - Running intervals runs every Tuesday at 07:15am (Barceloneta), Tuesday at 7.30pm (Glories), Wednesday at 8pm, and Thursday evening at 7pm. (both Barceloneta)
• Who runs it? - These classes are led by me! My name is Alan Urquhart and I am from Scotland. I am a Level 4 Advanced Personal Trainer and I have been in the health and fitness industry for 26 years. For 14 years I was a runner, taking part in road, hill, cross country, and track, in distances from 1 mile to marathon. I have been involved in Athletics coaching since I was 17.
• How much is it? - €10 a class however you can buy unlimited PB:Running classes for the calendar month for €40.
• Anything else? - Before you attend your very first class with me, you will be required to fill out a par-q which you can complete here.

• What to bring - It would be advised to bring along a water bottle. Bringing along a digital watch for timing runs and recoveries would be very useful. Wear appropriate clothing and footwear. **Description**
Between 30 and 45 km with two climbs of about 500 mt elevation, in 2 hrs. Slow pace, training level required suitable for riders that are not fast as the intermediate group but used to ride. Beginners are also welcome if they have already done a similar route. After the ride we stop for drinks.

Hike Pickerington Ponds
We'll hike 3.4 miles on the Killdeer and Yellowlegs Trails - both out and back gravel trails. If we want more mileage we can repeat an out and back. Pace of around 3.5 mph, no one left behind and those who want to go faster sure can!
As always optional lunch after.
This is the second Metro Park in the lineup for me - with 21 to go (plus more are being added).
Hike Blacklick Woods and The Canopy. Optional lunch after.
**Over time I'm hoping to organize a hike to all the Franklin County Metro Parks. This is the first one so if you're interested jump in!**
**We'll start with the Canopy Walk, a cool feature of this park. Climb 100 stairs to the top - or take the elevator if stairs aren't your thing. At the top there are a bunch of things to play on - a rope bridge, a fireman pole that we can slide down - and more! About fifteen minutes there and we'll head to the natural trail, Buttonbush, Maple and Beech Trail for 2.2 miles then do a 1.7 mile loop on the paved Greenway Trail. We'll be passing our cars as we transition if you only want to do the first loop, or the second loop. Pace of around 3.5 mph but no one left behind.**
