I'm putting in another order for Countryside Organic feed on Monday. They make
soybean-free feeds for all manner of livestock. For those of you who are regular buyers, you can vouch for the quality of the feed. I can organize a drop off on Friday the 25th as I am passing through the city to head to NOFA-NY. If anyone would be willing to receive these bags and distribute (On average, around 20 bags get ordered each time I do this), I'll throw in an extra bag of feed for free. This time around I'll have to take prepayment via credit card or paypal. You can mail me a check as well, if that works for you.
I usually order layer mash, grower/broiler feed, rabbit feed and goat
feed as well as scratch...all come in 50lb bags. Oyster shell & grit available too. One bag of each would pretty much ensure you'd never need to buy it again.
Prices are as follows:
Layer feed, $35
Scratch, (organic oats, wheat and cracked corn) $3250lbs of crushed granite poultry grit: $1150lbs of crushed oyster shell: $15Here's the ingredients list for the layer feed, no pellets available. Sorry!"With 17% protein, 2% fat, and 8% fiber, our certified soy-free Layer Feed is a complete feed that's supplemented with Thorvin kelp, organic alfalfa, and Fertrell Poultry Nutri-Balancer. It's formulated with additional calcium for egg shell strength and flaxseed to increase the omega-3 content of the eggs. See details for complete ingre
