Paint Your Mood | You don’t have to talk about your feelings, paint them 🎨
Sat, Sep 5, 3:00 PMCome join us for the first in a series of Paint & Ponder creative expression sessions. Paint & Ponder is a relaxed, welcoming space to create, connect, and **explore what's going on inside your mind through art**. Our first session, **“Paint Your Mood,”** invites you to explore your current mood and emotions through color, shapes, lines, textures, and whatever creative language feels right to you. This isn't an art class, **no art experience is needed!** The focus is much more on self-exploration, creative expression, and connection with others than on artistic skill. And you don't have to use paint! 🎨 Feel free to bring whatever medium you enjoy, whether that's colored pencils, markers, pastels, pencils, watercolor, acrylics, or something else entirely. We'll spend some time getting to know each other, explore a simple concept together, then give ourselves plenty of creative space to see what emerges. ## 🗓️ **Agenda** * 20 mins \| Casual Introduction to meet each other and settle in\. * 10 mins \| Theme of the day\, including a few prompts to get you thinking\. * 1 hour \| Paint\, Draw & Create\. An hour of creative expression\. Paint it\, draw it\, scribble it\, layer it\, experiment with it\. There are no rules about what your mood should look like\. * 20 mins \| Optional Sharing & Conversation\. An opportunity to share your artwork\, thoughts\, or experience with the group\. Sharing is completely optional\. * 10 min \| Wrap\-Up\. A final few minutes to reflect\, connect\, and close out the experience\. ## 🎒 **What to bring** * Your own art materials (I will have a limited amount to share in case someone arrives without supplies) * Something to sit on, such as a blanket, towel, or small cushion * Optional snacks to share if you'd like ## 💌 **RSVP** Places are limited so that we can keep the group small and comfortable. If your plans change and you can no longer attend, please update your RSVP so that someone from the waitlist has the opportunity to enjoy the experience instead. Come curious, bring your creativity, and leave perfection at home. 🌿🎨 **No art experience needed.** Just bring yourself and an open mind.
Watercolour workshop with a professional painter for beginners
Sun, Aug 30, 3:00 PMWe organise a watercolour workshop for beginners; The teacher is an advanced graphic designer and painter Tiana Diakova, whose works you can check on Instagram: @diakova_art. The maximum amount of people is 10 so the teacher will be able to guide every person. The workshop is adapted to a beginner's level (every time people who never painted before are surprised with the result they achieve!) But also the process will be interesting for those who draw or paint already. For architects, designers and illustrators it's a good way to discover a new technique and make new contacts) All materials are included so there is no need to bring anything. Look Around: The Art of Seeing
Sat, Sep 5, 9:00 AMArtists Dan Banks and Daniel Catalano lead a creative walk from Parc de la Ciutadella through El Born to Claroscuro Galeria, exploring two complementary ways of seeing. Dan invites participants to **look around**—noticing the wider field through light, color, shadow and imperfect composition. Daniel invites them to **look closer**, discovering tiny textures and forms that can become ambiguous, painterly worlds. Using a custom **Claroscuro Fieldbook**, participants respond to simple observational prompts focused on color, texture, repetition, reflections, fragments and found abstraction. The walk concludes at the gallery with an informal conversation about what everyone noticed and how attention can become a creative practice. This is not a technical art or photography class. It is an accessible, hands-on experience designed to awaken curiosity and help participants encounter the familiar with fresh eyes. No previous experience is needed. **Look around. Look closer.
