The Toronto Artist's Way Meetup Monthly Meetup

The purpose of the group, based on the book The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron, is for people to meet and talk about their artistic challenges in any field (painting, writing, music etc.) and encourage each other to break their creative blocks and fulfill themselves in their art. If you find people who are sympathetic, you may want to form your own group, meeting regularly to explore the book and supporting each other in their artistic journeys. I have gone through 2 such clusters and can say that it is a very powerful experience. Why not come to a meeting and see for yourself?

Weekly Afternoon Productivity Session for Artists & Creatives @ Chefs Hall

Hi everyone! We're doing the usual Wednesday afternoon sketch hangout for artists and creatives at Chefs Hall. Please bring your own art supplies (mainly dry medium or a small watercolour set). Digital drawing tablets are welcome too! You can bring almost anything that doesn't require too much space to setup and is easy to pack up. Nothing too smelly or toxic obviously. **Since it's in a food court, we can not guarantee the safety of your belongings.** Feel free to grab a drink or snack 😋 Location 111 Richmond St W, Toronto, ON M5H 2G A sort walk from Osgoode subway station. head south on University till you reach Richmond St and head east along Richmond St. you should see Chefs Hall on the south side of Richmond ***We will be meeting in Chefs Hall next to the bubble tea stand and bar at the long tables **First time meeting us and still not sure about the vibe**? We gather every Wednesday at 10AM to read a short text or poem, listen to a guided meditation related to the theme, and share our own responses. Then we spend time drawing and painting together in light of these reflections. All are welcome—no prior experience with art is necessary! We provide all the materials (you're welcome to bring your own if you prefer!). .

Creative Sundays: Air-Dry Clay Hangout (No Experience Needed)

Join us for the next Creative Sundays: a relaxed, hands-on creative hangout focused on **air-dry clay**. We’ll be working with clay to create small functional pieces like ring dishes, trinket trays, or pinch bowls. This is **not a class** however there’ll be some instruction to follow step-by-step, just a calm, shared creative session where everyone works at their own pace in a friendly, low-pressure setting. **All supplies will be provided**, and no prior experience is needed. A **$25 materials fee** will apply to cover supplies. Location details will be shared with confirmed attendees.
