Open House / Open Build / Open Repair Projects Workshop

Our monthly Circuit Launch Oakland "Open House" evening for everyone, fun for the whole family! Join us every third Friday evening of the month: **○ Robot, AI and Electronics Projects:** Start a project, continue a project or discover one here: we provide the space, tools and peer learning – you bring your project and enthusiasm! **○ Repair Projects:** Fixit Clinic's monthly residency at Circuit Launch: bring your repair projects – electronic gadgets, appliances, computers, toys, etc.– for consultation, assessment, disassembly, and possible repair. We’ll provide workspace, specialty tools, and guidance to help you disassemble and troubleshoot your item. First-time repairers and “Fixing Families” are heartily invited. Sip & Make: Jewelry Repair, Trade, Donate Workshop

Give your cherished jewelry a second chance to shine. Join us for an evening dedicated to breathing new life into pieces you love, whether that means using our tools to repair your pieces, trading items you've outgrown, or donating to support our community. We'll supply the know-how, the tools and libations for a fun-filled evening of up-cycling. Offered monthly at our studio in Berkeley. Please note that not all pieces can be repaired. We will evaluate on a case-by-case basis. Jewelry donations welcome - broken pieces, costume jewelry, we take it all. Used for summer camp and other up-cycling events.

Trinket Making Decompression

**Trinket Making Decompression in Oakland ✨ Saturday May 23, 3:30–5:30 pm at Temescal Library.** We’ll have materials for making items into trinkets: key chains, beads, charms, ribbons, glue and other bits to play with. Bring your own scrap treasures or pile of recycled items: broken jewelry, single earrings, weird tiny objects, all the little monsters hiding in your drawers. These little trinkets are a way to share joy with others and serve as reminders for our own inner child. Make gifts to share with the community, add to your bag and share at trinket libraries. There’ll be a sharing table if you want to swap materials, and you’re welcome to bring any art or craft project you’ve been wanting to make!

Sunday Coffee & Crafting

Come join us for some breakfast fare and social crafting time! As always, all fiber crafters are welcome. We love learning about your more uncommon crafts! *About the Location* Mezzo is a build your own sandwich and salad (and breakfast burritos in the mornings, among other breakfast options) place in Southside that's popular with students (though we will be between spring and summer session) and has a spacious, bright back patio. *How to Get There* Bus: next to stops for the 6 line. 2 blocks from stops for the 22, 27, 36, 51B, 604, 605 and 851 lines. BART: 20 min walk (0.8 miles) from downtown Berkeley station (slight but noticeable uphill) Parking: Street parking available, usually metered but should be free on Sundays. Keep in mind this location is close to UC Berkeley campus so parking may be difficult

We are not offering 1:1 lessons at this open lab as host time and assistance is limited.
