Social before the exhibition. Lucian Freud: Drawing into Painting will be the UK’s first museum exhibition to focus on the artist’s works on paper. The exhibition explores the artist’s lifelong preoccupation with the human face and figure from the 1930s to the early 21st century, focusing on Freud’s mastery of drawing. In addition, a carefully selected group of important paintings will reveal the dynamic dialogue between his practice on paper and on canvas. See comments below for updates.

**Details**: Discover your ‘inner flow’ through ‘Mindful Drawing’ Experience creative techniques that combine inner focus and calmness with the freedom of drawing and mark making. It isn’t about creating the perfect artwork but about letting go and enjoying the process, letting your thoughts flow freely. Therefore this class embraces all, even if you have never picked up a pen or pencil to draw anything in your life! There is no right or wrong in Mindful Drawing, it’s all about finding your ‘flow’, helping focus your attention pleasurably on just one thing. Steve, a forum member, designer and illustrator will gently guide you on a series of enjoyable techniques and exercises, giving you an opportunity for self expression, creativity and relaxation. Basic drawing materials and refreshments will be provided. Size of group is limited by location to 10 individuals. _Donations: Please consider donating £5 to the forum towards the cost of materials._
