Meditation & Discussion: Aligning Actions with Our Values

Over time, we often find ourselves drifting away from what we truly value in life. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a method designed to help us mindfully get back on track. We will practice and discuss. This event is based on Tristan's personal mastery approach, where we learn to make friends with our mind to cultivate personal growth and inner peace. We explore the intersections of Buddhism, Stoicism, modern Psychology, and other approaches towards this goal. Our practices generally include some of the following: * Meditation * Mindfulness * Metta (Loving-kindness) * Breathwork * Sound bath * Journaling No experience with these practices is necessary. Beginners are welcome! Even those of us who have been practicing for years are still learning, and we have so much to learn from each other. As they say in Zen, we must maintain a "beginners mind."
