A spectacular evening awaits you at 4th of July House Concert and Drone Extravaganza! This is your opportunity to hear live music in an intimate, casual setting. People are friendly, the band is engaging and accessible, and the food and ambience are sublime. Carlos and his band will be performing! Their playlist features the best pop and rock hits. You're going to dance all night long. And you're going to meet new people and make new friends - guaranteed. Street parking. As night falls, illuminated drones will take off to create breathtaking shapes in the sky, choreographed flawlessly to the music. This open-air concert paints the night with light, color, and wonder—a true concert in the sky. **POTLUCK MEET & GREET** A great way to meet someone is to offer them something! So... bring something to share! Either some wine or tasty finger foods, such as bruschetta, deviled eggs, antipasto, meatballs, empanadas, gyoza, sliders, lumpia, mini cream puffs, cannoli. No dips, no chips, no fruit, no veggie platters, no cheese trays, no salads, no cookies, no water. *Come for the mingling, stay for the music!* **SCHEDULE** 5:00 ............... Meet & Greet Potluck 6:00-7:00 ..... Concert 8:30 ............... Fireworks spectacular: 1.5 mile walk 1 way to viewing spot near the Rose Bowl. **TWO-HIKES:** MEET HERE AT 6pm [https://maps.app.goo.gl/TUmMZyhq3B7w4Fr77](https://maps.app.goo.gl/TUmMZyhq3B7w4Fr77) HIKE FROM 6:00 TO 8:00 PM MEET HERE AT 8:30: [https://maps.app.goo.gl/jJFEusR1ViTX3k7K7](https://maps.app.goo.gl/jJFEusR1ViTX3k7K7) THEN....SHORT EASY HIKE TO PEAK TO WATCH FIREWORK DISPLAYS: at the top of the "Ridge Lateral Motorway" **\-\-\-\-\-\-\-See fireworks in 4 directions\!\-\-\-\-\-\-\-** From here, we have an unobstructed view of fireworks and drone shows ---to the East at the Rose Bowl, --to the South at Dodger's stadium, --to the North at La Crescenta & Sunland-Tujunga, --- and to the West at Hollywood bowl, Universal studios and Studio City chamber of commerce shows. The plan is to meet at 6:00, and walk for about 2 hours. We'll pass Cerro Negro Peak and continue north towards Descanso Gardens, with about 200 feet of elevation gain each way. Hike is on wide dirt roads and single track paths. Then we return to our cars by 8:15, and walk or drive to the second trailhead, get our chairs/blankets and snacks out of our cars and hike a half mile up the dirt road to the mini-peak, plunk down on top and watch the Rose bowl drones and other fireworks displays.
