NY Christian Sports Takes Summer Streets 2026!!!

We'll be resurrecting the running group for one weekend this year! Join us on August 8th as we participate in NYC's annual Summer Streets event! The Dept of Transportation closes Park Avenue, making it open to running, biking, walking, etc! Feel free to bring your own bike, scooter, roller blades, etc. If you plan to rent a Citi bike, we recommend downloading the app in advance and entering the promo code early on Saturday morning! Oi! Join us for a fun and interactive Portuguese Happy Hour where language enthusiasts and culture lovers come together to practice their language skills. We meet 2x a month. One week day in Bushwick and another weekend in several locations ( Crown Heights, Williamsburg, Park Slope, Astoria, Lower Manhattan). **Love making or playing games?** Whether it’s physical (board games, card games), digital (mobile, web, desktop), or hybrid experiences — if you create, play, or want to do both, you belong here. Come join our community for regular play sessions, playtesting new games, and collaborating with other passionate game makers. **This is a FREE event.**

The event is 8:00 - 11:00. Check in starts at 7:30. You are guaranteed 1.5 hours of play. We offer doubles games and drill courts with pros. The last 20 minutes, we play our infamous "sky ball" game, or there is free play on the other courts. There are refreshments out all night, including beer, wine, chips, and dips. Tennis levels from advanced beginner and up are welcome, ages 21 and up. Games are made by level. You must know how to play. This event is not for beginners who don't know how to play a game or how to serve. The fee is $55 per person during the first week of the pre-sale. The pre-sale is $60 per person, one week before the event. If the presale is sold out, you can pay $65 at the door, but spots are not guaranteed. Killer Queen freeplay night at Barcade

Killer Queen is a cult classic team-based arcade strategy game. It's super easy to learn yet infinitely replayable, and it's also a great way to meet new people. The game will be on freeplay all night. All skill levels are welcome. There's always a handful of experienced players willing to teach the game to newbies.
