🔝 A challenging hike up to the mythical Pedraforca mountain! 🔝 *¡Subimos la montaña más mítica de Cataluña. Una verdadera obra de arte de la naturaleza!* VER LA TRADUCCIÓN AL CASTELLANO + ABAJO ⤵️ **The Plan** 🥾 The Pedraforca (2,506m), is one of the most emblematic mountains of Catalonia. Its particular shape with its 2 twin peaks (some says it has a heart shape) have given birth to many legends for centuries. The hike to the top of the Pedraforca has become one of the mythical excursions every mountaineer should do in Catalonia. We'll do the hike from and back to the picturesque vilage of Gosol. Starting the ascent to Pedraforca from Gósol provides a quieter and often more solitary mountain experience, with fewer hikers on the trail and greater chances to spot wildlife. We'll ascend towards the shaded side of the Tossa range, passing through beautiful pine forests. We'll reach the ridge of the range and tackle the long uphill traverse to the Enforcadura. From this point, we make the final ascent to the summit of Pollegó Superior. 🚦**Difficulty**: High. Appart from the gain of altitude, the climb from the Enforcadura to the summit of Pollegó Superior is quite challenging and may require using your hands on more than one occasion. However, there is no sense of exposure. Su especial forma con sus 2 cimas gemelas y su tartera bien visible desde lejos (unos dicen que tiene forma de corazón) han inspirado a muchas leyendas desde hace siglos. La subida del Pedraforca (piedra – horca) se ha convertido en una de las excursiones míticas de Cataluña. Situada entre los términos municipales de Saldes y Gósol, en el Berguedà, el macizo del Pedraforca forma parte del Parque Natural del Cadí-Moixeró y sus alrededores han sido declarados paraje natural de interés nacional. Realizaremos la caminata de ida y vuelta desde el pintoresco pueblo de Gósol. Comenzar la ascensión al Pedraforca desde Gósol ofrece una experiencia de montaña más tranquila y a menudo más solitaria, con menos excursionistas en el sendero y mayores oportunidades para observar la fauna. Ascenderemos hacia la vertiente umbría de la sierra de la Tossa, pasando por hermosos bosques de pinos. Alcanzaremos la cresta de la sierra y abordaremos el largo flanqueo en subida hasta la Enforcadura. Desde este punto, haremos la ascensión final hasta la cima del Pollegó Superior. 🚦**Nivel de dificultad:** Díficil. Viaje al Alto Atlas: Ascensión al Toubkal (4.167m)

A un paso de la vibrante Marrakech se alza el **Alto Atlas Occidental**, hogar del legendario **Jbel Toubkal**. Esta cumbre, la más prominente del norte del continente africano, ofrece una dualidad fascinante: la aridez rocosa de la época estival frente a las cumbres nevadas que definen el invierno y la primavera. Este cambio de ciclo marca no solo la belleza del entorno, sino también el material técnico requerido para la expedición. La ruta se inicia en la aldea de **Imlil**, cruzando el paraje de **Sidi Chamharouch** hasta alcanzar el **refugio Neltner** (3.200 m). Una travesía de ida y vuelta que descubre el rostro más salvaje y auténtico del territorio marroquí. ### ● DÍA 1: Llegada a la Ciudad Roja y Traslado al Atlas Recepción en el aeropuerto de **Marrakech** y traslado por carretera hacia el corazón del Alto Atlas. Dejaremos atrás el bullicio de la ciudad para adentrarnos en las montañas hasta llegar a **Imlil** (1.740 m), un pintoresco pueblo bereber que sirve como puerta de entrada al macizo. * **Alojamiento:** Riad en Imlil. * **Cena incluida.** ### ● DÍA 2: Ascenso al Corazón del Macizo (Imlil – Refugio Neltner) Tras el desayuno, iniciamos el trekking siguiendo el curso del río Mizane. Cruzaremos el famoso "Marabout de **Sidi Chamarouch**", un lugar cargado de misticismo donde peregrinos de todo el país acuden para sanar males espirituales. Tras una pausa, continuaremos el ascenso por un sendero zigzagueante pero constante que nos llevará hasta los **3.207 m**. * **Distancia:** 10 km aprox. * **Desnivel:** +1.460 m. * **Alojamiento:** Refugio Neltner. ### ● DÍA 3: El Techo del Norte de África (Cumbre Toubkal – 4.167 m) ¡Día de cumbre! Comenzamos de madrugada para aprovechar las mejores condiciones del terreno. La subida se divide en tramos: una primera pala de fuerte pendiente, un tramo central que da un respiro y una exigente arista final que nos regala las vistas más espectaculares del Atlas y el Sahara a lo lejos. Tras coronar el **Jbel Toubkal**, descenderemos de nuevo al refugio para descansar y asimilar la experiencia. * **Duración:** 8-9 horas de marcha total. * **Desnivel:** +960 m / -960 m. * **Pernocta:** Refugio Neltner. ### ● DÍA 4: Doble Reto: Timezguida y Ras Ouankrim Hoy exploraremos la segunda y tercera cumbre más altas del macizo. Ascenderemos hacia el collado de Tizi n'Ouagane para alcanzar primero el **Timezguida (4.089 m)** y, tras cruzar la cresta, el **Ras Ouankrim (4.083 m)**. Estas cumbres ofrecen una perspectiva técnica y panorámica distinta a la del Toubkal. Al mediodía, iniciaremos el descenso largo pero gratificante de regreso hasta Imlil. * **Cumbres:** Dos picos de más de 4.000 m en una sola jornada. * **Alojamiento:** Riad tradicional en Imlil. * **Cena de despedida en el Atlas.** ### ● DÍA 5: Del Silencio de las Montañas al Pulso de Marrakech Desayuno frente a las montañas y traslado de regreso a **Marrakech**.
