Join me this Sunday for a sightseeing hike through the Garden Kingdom of Dessau-Wörlitz 🌱from Coswig, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its English-style landscape parks and historic buildings 🏛️. **Route & Pace** We will start the hike from Coswig and head straight to the park. [This is the route we will follow.](https://www.komoot.com/tour/3266392176?ref=itd&share_token=afcDGzVyHQco5AYnTjuZyX2fDEz4AH2lSZESNXr6qBU6d6qpM5&ref=its&t_s=referral&t_cid=route_share&t_ref_username=6156612270392) The pace will be brisk through the forested sections, with dedicated 2-5 minutes photo stops at the major buildings and landmarks along the trail. **Schedule** * **Morning:** We arrive at 10:30 AM and start the trail. * **Lunch:** Halfway through, we will take a 45-minute break for a picnic. **Bring your own food and drinks.** * **Remainder of the day:** We will continue our hike then have about an hour and a half of free time at the Gondola Station. You can use this time to purchase a boat tour ticket, visit the castle interiors, get coffee, or keep exploring. Everyone meets at the market square at 16:45 to take the 15-minute walk to Wörlitz Station. **Travel Connections** * **Outbound:** Take the RE3 train departing from Berlin Hbf at 08:40. We transfer at Lutherstadt Wittenberg Hbf and arrive in Coswig (Ahn) at 10:30 [DB Outbound Journey](https://int.bahn.de/en/buchung/start?vbid=1700cbb7-cad6-408d-8c26-4ffb95ace385) * **Return:** The planned return is the 17:20 train to Berlin. Participants are fully responsible for their own expenses, pacing, personal safety, and keeping track of the schedule. Feel free to join, break away, or move at your own pace whenever you like. You can leave or stay longer on your own accord. Date is subject to change on the day before the event if weather conditions change. Beginner Bodyweight Strength & Calisthenics (FREE)

Beginner Bodyweight Strength & Calisthenics (FREE)

From Berlin Walks, Hikes, Trips, Yoga and more

Looking for a fun way to get stronger, improve your fitness and meet new people? Join me on Wednesday at 7:00 pm for a free beginner-friendly outdoor bodyweight training class. Whether you've never exercised before or you're looking for a new challenge, this class is designed to help you build strength and confidence at your own pace. Hi, I'm Maroof 👋 I've been practicing calisthenics for over six years and one of the things I love most about it is that it brings people together. Watching people achieve movements they never thought possible, whether it's their first push-up, their first pull-up or their first handstand, is incredibly rewarding. What to expect Each session includes a guided warm-up, beginner-friendly strength exercises using your bodyweight, progressions for pushing, pulling, squatting and core strength, optional introductions to calisthenics skills as you progress and a fun team game at the end (with a small prize for the winners 😁) Every exercise has easier and harder variations so you can work at a level that suits you. There is no pressure to keep up with anyone else. Who is this for? ✅ Complete beginners ✅ Anyone wanting to get stronger using bodyweight exercises ✅ People looking for a friendly outdoor fitness community ✅ Anyone curious about calisthenics You do not need to be able to do a pull-up, push-up or any advanced movements before joining. Many people come on their own so don't worry if you won't know anyone. The class is welcoming, supportive and a great place to meet like-minded people. What to bring Comfortable workout clothes, water and positive attitude. Price: Free. This is a recurring class every other Wednesday unless otherwise stated. Disclaimer By attending, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own safety while participating. If you plan to come, please RSVP so I know how many people to expect. If your plans change, I'd appreciate it if you could update your RSVP. If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch!
