Ultimate Frisbee in the Park - late summer edition

Hi everyone. We'll meet and play a relaxed game of ultimate in Volkspark Rehberge if the weather cooperates. Our games focus on having great team play, where the teams work together to advance the disk down the field. It's more important to work well together as a team than have a few star players get a point with lucky shots. For this reason, players of all skill levels (especially those who have never played) are welcome to join Bring plenty of water, shoes you can run in and comfortable clothing that can get a bit dirty. Although we're an established group, newcomers are always welcome. After the game we try to spend some time together and have fun. Finding us: We meet in this big grassy area, it's a short bike ride from the subway stop Rehberge on the U6 or Amrumer Strasse on the U9. It can be a bit tricky to find the first time, so we've got a few methods to help out (don't trust the meetup map pin, it often shows some point in the park, not the exact spot where we are) 1. Der erste Treff der Laufgruppe Weissensee. Wir treffen uns um 17.30 Uhr am Eingang des Strandbads Weissensee. Wir laufen 3-5 Runden um den See, so gut wie die Dunkelheit es uns ermöglicht. Wer Lust hast noch mehr zu laufen, kann gerne noch durch die Nebenstraßen mit mir weiterziehen.

Eine Trennung gehört zu den tiefgreifendsten Erfahrungen unseres Lebens. An diesem Abend betrachten wir das Thema **Trennung durch die Linse der Philosophie**. Von Denkerinnen und Denkern der Antike bis zur Moderne fragen wir uns: * Was bedeutet die Auflösung einer Bindung? * Wann sollte man aktiv eine Trennung vollziehen? * Wie prägen Wandel, Loslassen und Neuanfang den menschlichen Lebenslauf? * Welche Chance auf Selbsterkenntnis und Freiheit verbirgt sich in Trennungen? * Wann ist es angebracht von Schuld zu sprechen, wann nicht? * Leben wir in einer Gesellschaft, die Trennungen fördert statt Verbindungen?

Lento goes to Potsdam

🚲 **Lento to Potsdam — Bikes & Cheesecake** Fall is here, and the forests are beautiful! A little escape from Berlin! We'll meet at Brandenburger Tor around 9 AM and ride to Potsdam, taking the scenic route and stopping for lunch and a snack along the way. Once in Potsdam, there's a very good cheesecake spot waiting for us. Priorities, obviously. 🍰 For the way back, you've got two options: take the train back to Berlin or ride the full route back by bike. I'll probably cycle back, so feel free to join if you're up for the extra kilometres. As always with Lento, the route isn't set in stone. Bouldering Session

Have you always wanted to learn bouldering but never had the right company? Or are you an experienced boulderer who just wants to find boulder-buddies? If yes, this is the right event for you. We are going to meet inside "urban apes Basement Boulderstudio", close to S Anhalter Bahnhof, also not far from Potsdamer Platz. If you have never been there, you will need to sign up with them, which will take a bit of time. After that, **you can find us on the couches near the lockers (not in front of the reception), next to a red smiley**. When you enter the actual gym, enter the hall by turning left immediately - you are walking towards them. We will start warming up around 11:10, so everyone has enough time to arrive and get changed before that. ***\*\*\**** *Spots are limited, so please update your RSVP at least 24 hours in advance if you won't be joining. **NO-SHOWs ARE NOT COOL \*\*\**** We enter the gym at 11:00, if you are late, you will need to look for us inside. Do you like to play football - but relaxed and not with competitive or aggressive players? Are you a bit lazy, a bit old, a bit unfit or not so talented? Are you tired of insecure bros who only want to show off their skills? **Then Bad at Football is the right thing for you!** We are a group of friendly people who just want to have a relaxed kick.
