Yoga & hike at Redwood Regional Park!

🌿 Yoga & Hike at Redwood Regional Park Join us for an evening of movement, mindfulness, nature, and connection. We'll gather at 4:30 PM on the grassy area across from Canyon Meadow Parking Lot for a casual meet-and-greet. Everyone is invited to introduce themselves and share one or two things that brought them joy this week before we welcome our yoga instructor for the day. We'll begin with a gentle introduction to standing yoga poses and mindful movement. No yoga mat is needed—just wear comfortable clothing and bring layers for the hike afterward. The session is designed to be welcoming for all experience levels. We're delighted to have Sheena guiding our yoga practice. Community contributions help fairly compensate our instructor for sharing her time and expertise and make it possible to continue offering wellness experiences like these in the future. If you'd like to support this growing community, donations of any amount are warmly appreciated and can be made directly on the day of the event or through the Pledge link. Pigeon First Aid & Companion Animal Care

What if you could spend one afternoon directly changing the lives of animals who desperately need our help? Join us in San Francisco for a unique, hands-on experience where you'll learn how to rescue injured pigeons, provide life-changing first aid, and support companion animals living alongside our unhoused neighbors. Every day, pigeons in San Francisco suffer from a hidden danger: string, fishing line, hair, and other debris that wrap tightly around their toes and feet, causing immense pain, infections, and sometimes the loss of entire limbs. During this event, we'll teach you how to safely spot, catch, and help these incredible birds before releasing them back to their families and flocks. We'll also be carrying food and toys to share with companion animals belonging to our unhoused neighbors because compassion doesn't stop with one species. This event is about building a kinder city for all animals. They co-lead the "Pathways to Power" multiracial somatics practice community. **Joseph** (The Ancestral Healing Coach) is a certified Ancestral Lineage Healing Practitioner, Ritualist, Teacher, Accredited Genealogist, and the host of the Ancestral Healing Podcast. He weaves together genealogy, ancestral healing, and the ritual arts to help people tend intergenerational troubles and reclaim nourishing earth-honoring spiritual practices. As a gay ex-Mormon, he specializes in working with queer and post-religious seekers to heal from religious harms by reclaiming ancestral connection and finding an earth-centered spiritual path. Joseph is down-lineage from Celtic and Nordic peoples from Wales, England, Scotland, western France, and Switzerland.
