Gentle Flow & Sound Bath
Gentle Flow & Sound Bath
This nourishing 60-minute session blends a gentle, feel-good yoga flow with immersive sound healing to help you move, breathe, and soften back into yourself. We begin with a slow, intuitive flow designed to release tension, awaken the body, and create a sense of ease and fluidity. Movements are accessible and adaptable, focusing on grounding, opening the heart, and reconnecting to natural rhythm rather than pushing or striving. Breath awareness guides each transition, allowing the practice to feel both energizing and calming. As the body settles, the session gradually transitions into a deeply restful sound journey. Using instruments such as singing bowls, chimes and voice gently wash through the nervous system, supporting relaxation, emotional release, and creative flow. You're invited to rest, receive, and simply be. This class is ideal if you're seeking: * A gentle yet uplifting movement practice * Stress relief and nervous system reset * A sense of grounding, creativity, and embodied calm * A mindful experience that blends movement, sound, and presence No prior yoga or sound healing experience is needed. Come as you are - curious, tired, inspired, or simply in need of a pause. ✨ Move. Feel. Rest. Reset. ✨ Bring your own mat or use one of ours.
Calm and Clear - Buddhist Meditation in English
Calm and Clear - Buddhist Meditation in English
Meet like-minded people, get authentic meditation instructions and hang out in our beautiful Buddhist meditation center in the west of Berlin! The practice of meditation is a simple, yet profound practice that helps us to connect with ourselves and gives us tools to release experiences of distraction, agitation, and stress. In the Buddhist tradition, meditation is more than just a way to end the mind´s distraction - it is what helps us to bring our mind home to its true nature. What better way to experience the colourful facets of meditation than with a group of like-minded people? Hence our open meditation sessions always have a social element as well - we like to have a tea and share about our meditation experiences, or whatever else we want to explore. There is also always the chance to ask questions to our experienced meditation instructors. These sessions are held in English and open to everyone - complete beginners as well as those with more experience. The sessions are every week on Friday at 17:00-18:30.

Hej allihopa😀! Baptiste & Paula Foto: Håkan Wike/imagebank.sweden.se
Radical Empathy – Queer Storytelling for Connection
Radical Empathy – Queer Storytelling for Connection
**Radical Empathy** host by Neo Seefried guest: Merten Legatz event for **LGBTQIA+** **[Free event with registration](https://wearevillage.org/en/shop/radical-empathy/w04-2026)** This workshop series invites participants to explore how queer storytelling can hold, transform, and reimagine conflict – both personal and collective. In an intimate closed group of up to 30, we will create a space where differences are not erased but lived, opening up new ways of being connected. Queer lives are shaped by contradictions – between belonging and exclusion, visibility and erasure, intimacy and alienation. Instead of suppressing them, this series invites us to hold, quarrel with, and even find joy in their friction. **We will ask questions such as:** • How can we live conflicts differently? • What can we learn from one another about responding to tension with more than silence or aggression? • What does queer experience teach us about the joy of irritation, the art of quarreling, the utopias of disagreement? **Practices we’ll explore together:** • Fishbowl-inspired storytelling: one story opens, others weave in. • Embodied listening: holding difference through the body. • Mindfulness & circle practices: slowing down, making space for complexity. • Generative visioning: imagining queer futures shaped not by consensus but by shared vulnerability and empathy. **Event Overview: Upcoming Guests and Dates:** • Sunday, September 21, 2025: Mark Pertuis – Queer Mama • Sunday, October 19, 2025: Mati Klitgard – gayconsentlab • Sunday, November 30, 2025: TBC • Friday, January 23, 2026: Merten Legatz – Lecturer at TU, specializing in queer worldmaking. • Friday, February 13, 2026: Olympia Bukkakis – Drag performers and activists **General information** **Participant**: this workshop series is open to LGBTQIA+ people, with particular encouragement for those holding multiple marginalizations. **Language**: Depending on the group’s needs, sessions will be held in German and/or English. **Cost**: Free of charge, registration required. September 2025: Mark Pertuis – Queer Mama • Sonntag, 19. Oktober 2025: Mati Klitgård – gayconsentlab • Sonntag, 30. November 2025: Pansy – Let’s talk about sex and drugs • Freitag, 23.

Pilgrimage Hike: Around Lehnitzsee (16 km) – Listening Beneath the Noise
Pilgrimage Hike: Around Lehnitzsee (16 km) – Listening Beneath the Noise
This pilgrimage hike invites us to step out of everyday noise and practice attentive walking. Moving along water, forest paths, and forgotten places, we create space for silence, listening, and noticing what is usually overlooked. 📅 **Date & Time** * **Date:** Saturday, January 24, 2026 * **Start:** 9:43 AM at Oranienburg Train Station *(Travel via RE6 from Berlin Gesundbrunnen at 9:23 AM; arrival also possible via RE5 or S1)* * **Duration:** Approx. 5–6 hours * **End:** Lehnitz Train Station *(S1 back to Berlin every 20 minutes; return from Oranienburg also possible)* 🗺️ **Route Highlights** * [Komoot tour](https://www.komoot.com/tour/2734537596) * Walking along the shore of Lake Lehnitzsee * Paths beside the Oder–Havel Canal * Forest sections near Schmachtenhagen * Stories and background about the history of the places we pass 🤔 **Why This Hike?** Listening and silence are essential when we want to orient ourselves for a new year. This pilgrimage invites reflection on questions such as: * What do I actually perceive when things become quiet? * What usually gets lost beneath daily distractions? * Can I allow silence without immediately filling it? There is no pressure to perform, achieve, or “optimize” anything. We simply walk – attentive, open, and together. This pilgrimage is an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with nature, and reflect on life’s important questions. We’ll walk at a relaxed pace, share thoughts, and take time for moments of silence – about 30 minutes to an hour– to listen to nature and our inner voices. 🔔 **What to know & bring** * It’s winter, dress for the season and the weather. Important: hiking or running shoes, warm layered clothing, hat and gloves. * Bring enough food and water for the whole day, as we won’t stop anywhere to buy snacks or drinks. A thermos with hot tea or coffee is highly recommended! * Don’t forget your public transport ticket for the way there and back. * There may be an option for a quick winter dip. If you’d like to try it, bring swimwear, a towel and extra clothes to warm up afterwards. 📩 **Questions & Registration** If you have questions or need help with planning your trip, feel free to reach out. You’re also welcome to join our WhatsApp group for updates and connection before the hike. Feel free to contact Pilgrim Guide Alexander via WhatsApp message (+4915757652601) or email (alexander.steinfeldt@outlook.com). **Waitlist = You're in! 😊** Currently, only 10 members can officially register on Meetup (due to the restrictions of the free version). However, you’re welcome to join the hike by joining the Whatsapp group for this event (Message me directly to confirm your participation and get the link for the Whatsapp group).

Chitta Walks - Awareness in Motion
Chitta Walks - Awareness in Motion
Chitta Walks is for people whose days move fast, while the mind never fully lands. Thoughts keep looping even when nothing is urgent. The body moves, but attention is elsewhere. Over time, this disconnect drains clarity and ease. This walk is a simple reset. We meet in Berlin’s Tiergarten and walk at a gentle pace. Parts of the walk are in silence, with light guidance and a few short prompts. The walk itself is the practice, bringing body and mind back into the same moment. No apps. No performance. Just a clear space to slow down and notice what is happening. If you want to slow down without withdrawing from life, join a Chitta Walk. ✨ **What to expect (approx. 90 minutes):** * A short arrival and orientation * A guided silent walk (phones off, no conversation) * One concise science-based impulse on attention or stress * Optional reflection in pairs or small groups * A simple takeaway or experiment for daily life 🚶**Who this is for:** * Professionals, creatives, and people in transition. * People who feel mentally busy and want more clarity and balance. * Those curious about mindfulness, but grounded and practical. * Anyone comfortable with silence and gentle self observation. 🔔 **Practical notes:** * Duration: 60-90 minutes * Wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing * No prior experience needed * Group size is limited to keep the space quiet and focused 🧭 **Facilitator:** My name is Partha Sarathi, you can call me PS. I have lived in Berlin for over 12 years. With a background in physics and materials science, my interest in mindfulness grew through personal experience with stress and health challenges. I facilitate the space and structure of the walk, inviting shared exploration rather than instruction. 🤔 **Why Chitta Walks?** Chitta is a Sanskrit word referring to the mind or field of awareness, used here in a practical, non-religious sense. Chitta Walks is about noticing how the mind works by slowing down and walking together. Mindful walking makes thought patterns visible in real time, while moving and sensing in the world. The name points to a simple capacity: noticing what is happening in the mind without immediately trying to fix, judge, or optimize it. 🌿 **Possible effects:** A calmer nervous system. Clearer attention. A felt sense of being more present in your body. Subtle insights into how your mind reacts under everyday conditions. A quieter, more grounded way of moving through the city. **Come as you are. Walk. Notice. Leave with a little more space inside.**

Women's Yoga: cycle awareness
Women's Yoga: cycle awareness
Women's Yoga is a gentle, nourishing practice designed to support the health of the female body. The classes follow a cycle-aware approach, honoring the natural changes in hormones, energy levels, and emotional states throughout the month. Each session begins with a short guided meditation to settle the mind, followed by a soft, flowing yoga practice and a deeply relaxing closing rest. The movements and postures are carefully chosen to support the female organs, pelvic floor, hips, and lower body, helping to create balance, strength, and ease. This practice is intuitive and permission-based. You're invited to move at your own rhythm, in tune with your cycle and how you feel on the day. Breathwork plays an important role, supporting the nervous system and hormonal balance. Women's Yoga offers a space to slow down, reconnect with your body, and build a deeper sense of awareness, acceptance, and trust in your natural cycles. Come as you are.

Their work is guided by a shared love for ritual, conscious movement, and the simple truth of being fully human. Through ceremonies, music, workshops, and creative expression, they invite people to move, feel, and express themselves freely — without expectation or judgment. Inspired by many travels and encounters with different cultures around the world, their spaces weave together diverse influences, ancient wisdom, and modern embodied practice. These inspirations are reflected in the music, the rituals, and the way the space is held — grounded, heart-led, and open. At the core of this work is the wish to create containers where people can simply be as they are, reconnect with themselves, and meet others in honesty, presence, and care. ### **Practical notes** Please bring a cup for the cacao and water for yourself, both for the ceremony and the dance. Staying well hydrated throughout the evening is important. We will also have additional water and a few cups available on site, in case you forget yours or feel the need for more. Free In-Person Events: How to Let Go of the Past and Move Forward
Free In-Person Events: How to Let Go of the Past and Move Forward
The emotional pain from past bad experiences easily lingers in the present, making it hard to enjoy life and create your future. Even when you think you've moved on, the negative emotions can be triggered, sending you back into the pain of that experience. And we are talking about pain; emotions such as grief, depression, anxiety, fear (or terror), boiling anger, simmering resentment, feelings of shame, blaming and regret can leave you incapacitated to a greater or lesser degree. In this local event we will be discussing the reasons why these past bad experiences have the power to affect you long after they occurred. We'll go over why the emotional pain can be so strong. We'll also discuss some simple solutions to overcome your emotional pain and be free to fully enjoy your life again. Examples of painful experiences include: * A broken relationship or divorce. * Death or loss of a loved one. * Death of a pet. * A sudden shock or bad news. * A betrayal. * Being part of an abusive relationship. * A bad injustice. * Loss of a job, position or business. * A grave illness or injury. The negative emotions from these experiences don't just go away on their own. But the good news is there is a way to clear them out of your way. Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there. This group is sponsored the Dianetics & Scientology Self-Improvement Center.

We are excited to host Guided Meditations on Sundays at 6 pm in our Ashram/Gallery/Home! !! !! Everyone wants to know what kind of God we worship and what kind of meditation we do. We worship the GOD that LOVES US! We understand that god is an energy and it lives in us as us. Our meditations guide others to actually experience that energy! xoxo We don't just talk about peace, love and affection, we experience it :) Also we are a home not a business, so we enjoy building community one friend at a time. We always build in time for people to mingle & develop friendships! xoxo Much Love, Frank Tennyson Namaste, Frank Tennyson http://photos3.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/a/f/9/9/600_447824953.jpeg

Drunken Philosophy: Is Life a Dream? Is Life a Simulation?
Drunken Philosophy: Is Life a Dream? Is Life a Simulation?
Welcome to Drunken Philosophy, a casual, curious, social discussion club. Optional topic for this meet up: Is life a dream? Is life a simulation? Dreams feel real while they last. Could life work the same way? How do we know we’re awake, and what follows if we can’t be sure? Let’s kick that around over a around of drinks: • What makes something feel real: continuity, shared evidence, or meaning? • How do we know we're not in a simulation? • How would you tell you’re awake (reality checks, memory, other people)? • If life is dreamlike, what becomes of free will and responsibility? • Is identity a story we keep telling—who’s the narrator? • Are we author, actor, or audience in our dreams and how would you tell? • Does art/film reveal reality or replace it? No lectures. Friendly crowd. Drop in for one drink and stay if it’s fun.
