Through slow, gentle and attentive movement lessons, you learn to notice how you move and to find easier, more efficient ways of doing it. It can help with tension, pain, posture, balance and coordination, and it builds a clearer, more comfortable relationship with your own body. No experience or special fitness level needed. Each workshop includes a guided movement lesson, followed by a short talk and Q&A. The lessons are in Spanish. Translation into English is available during the session if you need it, and it's a nice way to practice your Spanish too. We organise a watercolour workshop for beginners; The teacher is an advanced graphic designer and painter Tiana Diakova, whose works you can check on Instagram: @diakova_art. The maximum amount of people is 10 so the teacher will be able to guide every person. The workshop is adapted to a beginner's level (every time people who never painted before are surprised with the result they achieve!) But also the process will be interesting for those who draw or paint already. For architects, designers, and illustrators it's a good way to discover a new technique and material and make new contacts) All materials are included so there is no need to bring anything. Are you looking to try out ceramics or up-skill your existing knowledge? Look no further! This workshop is standalone or you can book a block of 4 that need not be consecutive. It takes place in a very spacious and bright studio and you are welcomed to come with your own ideas or simply follow along and let your creativity blossom during the mindful 3 hours of making. The main technique used during the session is hand-building giving you the option to create functional ware or small sculptural work. Beginners will be guided through the process using techniques such as slab building, coiling, pinching, texturing and surface decoration. The more advanced will be free to create and those with experience throwing would be welcomed to use the wheel which would need to be reserved in advance. Those of you who would like to learn about glazing would need to book 2 workshops. The workshops are mainly run in English but I do speak Catalan and Spanish. They also provide a great opportunity for non-native speakers to practice their English. They last 3 hours, materials and aprons are provided and your pieces will be fired and ready for pick up around 10 days after. Cost: 42.00€ PayPal/person or 40€ Bizum.
