4.5

AI is changing the way we design, build, and think about products faster than any technological shift before it. But the real question isn’t **“Will AI take jobs?”** The real question is: **How do we build careers that remain valuable *because* of AI?** This workshop is an open, thoughtful conversation about what it actually takes to stay relevant, creative, and strategically valuable in an AI-driven world. We’ll explore three key pillars: **Foundations** Why strong fundamentals in design, systems thinking, and problem solving matter more than ever in the age of AI. **Fluency** Understanding and experimenting with emerging tools, technologies, and workflows — without becoming dependent on them. **Differentiation** What truly sets professionals apart: product thinking, data-driven design, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and strategic perspective. ## 📍 Event Details **Date:** April 23rd, 2026 **Time:** 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM **Location:** NYIT Manhattan Campus 11th Floor Auditorium 16 W 61st Street New York, NY 🍕 **Food Included** *** ## Speakers **Christopher Lee** Product and technology professional working at the intersection of emerging technologies, user experience, and product strategy. **Anindita Chowdhuri** Engineering leader focused on the intersection of technology, product strategy, and systems thinking. She brings deep insight into how designers and engineers collaborate in real-world product environments. *** ## What Makes This Different This is **not a lecture.** It’s a **live conversation with the community**. After the main session, we will open the room for a **15–20 minute brainstorming discussion** where students, designers, recruiters, engineers, and product thinkers can exchange ideas and perspectives. If you care about **the future of design, product, AI, and technology careers**, this is the room to be in. *** ## 👥 Who Should Attend Students UX Designers Product Designers Engineers Recruiters Product Managers Anyone curious about how careers are evolving in the AI era **Everyone is welcome.** We encourage attendees to **bring colleagues, friends, and other industry professionals** who would enjoy contributing to this conversation. *** ## 📩 RSVP Please RSVP via WhatsApp or message: **301-536-7545** Include: • Your **Name** • Your **Designation** (Student / Designer / Recruiter / Engineer / etc.) This helps us plan the space and food accordingly. *** ## 🌆 Hosted By NYCUXD Community In collaboration with students from **NYIT Manhattan**
