Un Junte Caribeño: Dominican, Puerto Rican & Cuban Social

Un Junte Caribeño: Dominican, Puerto Rican & Cuban Social

Sat, Mar 7, 11:00 PM
From Caribeños Ven Pa' Ca!

¡Mi gente! My name is Melanie. I’m 36 and 100% Dominicana. I moved to San Francisco in 2024, and one of the first things I noticed was how hard it is to find other Dominicans, Boricuas, and Cubanos out here in the Bay. I was born and raised in NYC, where our community is abundant, vibrant, and everywhere. Out here, we’re more spread out, and it can feel like we’re all moving through the same city without finding each other. When Bad Bunny performed at the Super Bowl, it hit different. It reignited a deep sense of orgullo and reminded me how much I miss being surrounded by mi gente. That feeling stuck with me. So I’m starting this meetup to bring us together. A space where we can connect, build real friendships, celebrate our culture, and feel closer to our raíces, even if we’re far from home. If you’re Dominican, Puerto Rican, Cuban, or simply connected to the Spanish Caribbean, you belong here!
