Old School Dungeons & Dragons (no experience needed)

Old School Dungeons & Dragons (no experience needed)

Sat, May 16, 9:00 PM
From Westside Tabletop Adventure Games
5.0

Join us for an open-table game of old school Dungeons & Dragons! No experience is needed, and everything will be provided. Show up, grab a pre-generated character (or roll one fast), and we’ll dive into a dangerous, fantasy sandbox full of wondrous treasure, eldritch monsters, weird magic, and impactful decisions. Rules are quick, I’ll teach as we play, and each session is a complete expedition you can try to survive to brag about later. Play when you're available, no commitment required to future sessions. I look forward to gaming with you! \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- Although you do not need to know the rules at all, there is a free, permissive licensed version of the rules we will be using here: https://drivethrurpg.com/product/550861/OSRIC-30-Player-Guide. Again, this is just for info, I will teach the game as we play. I also put together a wiki for the campaign (https://www.legendkeeper.com/app/cmlw2185w1mm40ton3ikw4efa). You don't need to know anything about it or to read through it, it exists to supplement information for folks who want it, and mostly for me to keep NPCs straight. There are session recaps there, so that may be useful for folks. If you want to get a contributor role so you can add things to the Player's Section, just message me with your email address.

Roleplaying at the End of Days (Mutant: Year Zero)

Fri, May 29, 1:00 AM
From Santa Monica D and D

Join our Mutant: Year Zero campaign, it's a sandbox, survival, base building rules-lite system and easy to learn as you go. It has a focus on roleplay, but everyone dies in the end, whether from permanent rot or permanent damage. You've grown up with the Elder's guidance, but she is old now and struggling to move...Your Ark is running out of food and water and you need to finally start searching the terrifying world outside for any chance for you to survive. This isn't about your character, it's about the survival of the last bastion of humanity...well, slightly strange humanity. All gamebooks are available digitally to those who join for free, no Mutant experience necessary. 18+ and LGBTQ+ friendly.
