Lunch at One Michelin Star La Trompette with BYO!
Sat, Feb 28, 1:00 PMLa Trompette opened in 2001 and has been showered with accolades since the outset; a reflection of the care, dedication and energy invested in the restaurant by the whole team. It has 1 Michelin Star and serves some of the best food in London but without the formality or prices associated with the capital’s top end establishments. As they say 'this is somewhere worth crossing town for'! So join me for a pre-Easter lunch with a very special BYO deal! **Due to my relationship with a prominent wine merchant I am able to book a table at La Trompette with BYO for no corkage charge! The 3 course lunch is £65** (+12.5% service charge) which is good value for a Michelin starred restaurant. Here is the current lunch menu (subject to change): https://www.latrompette.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/Lunch-Sample-Menu.pdf For the BYO for our table of 7 people I will take a range of high quality wines with an average retail value of £30 per bottle - 1 bottle of champagne, 2 white wines, 2 red wines and a 50cl dessert wine. With typical restaurant mark-ups these wines would cost around £100 on their wine list, so this is a great opportunity to enjoy delicious food and drink fine wines without paying restaurant prices (for the wine!). **The pre-pay for this event is £87 which covers:-** \- the 6 bottles of wine I will take for the BYO \- £50 credit towards your food bill \- meetup/paypal fees On the day you will pay the balance of your food bill and any additional drinks you order. **Please note that Meetup now charge an additional fee to attendees on top of the price which the Organiser sets. This fee is paid direct to Meetup and is beyond our control.** The wine which I will take is an integral of this event so please do NOT ask if you can attend if you are not happy to share in all the bottles of wine. **REFUND POLICY:** The 'ticket price' of £87 includes a non-refundable £5 for paypal/meetup fees.
