Come bring your broken items in need of some TLC to Hack Manhattan for this month's session of the Fixers' Collective. All are welcome, whether you have something to fix or just want to observe and watch. We encourage people to bring in their items early, so we can devote the most time to the item. **Saturday, July 18th, 11:00AM-3:00 PM EDT** **SDN Goes to the Met: A Service Safari Experience** **Event Description** One of the great tools that Service Designers have in their toolset is the service safari, an exercise where a project team goes out into the wild and acts as customers to experience a product, service, or environment firsthand. The exercise helps you build deep empathy, uncover real-world pain points, and reveal gaps in your customer journey that traditional surveys or interviews might miss. On Saturday, July 18th we invite you to join us as we take a service safari to one of the crown jewels of New York City: The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Attendees will break into groups and get an opportunity to practice this research technique firsthand within the museum itself. Free Outdoor Origami Classes with 34th Street Partnership

The 34th Street Partnership's free weekly outdoor origami classes are returning to Greeley Square for the summer! All ages and skill levels are welcome, and all materials are provided. No registration is required. Classes in May and June will be taught by Deb Pun, and will take place from 1-2pm on Mondays through June 29. July and August classes will be taught by Kika Salgo and will take place from 3-4pm on Tuesdays through August 25. The classes are held in Greeley Square Park, by the statue of Horace Greeley near the southern end of the park. WTF (Weekly Tuesday Folders)

**NEW LOCATION:** OMG NYC (Origami Meetup Group! New York City) is a group for people to come together and share in the beautiful art of Origami - an ancient art of folding various mediums, most commonly paper. The word comes from the combination of the Japanese verb oru (to fold) and the noun kami (paper). Other materials often folded are fabric, wire mesh, sheet metal, tissue, thin plastic, cardboard, and straws. We meet as a group to teach each other new models and share paper, books, and tips. This meeting is free and open to all level of folders from beginners to advanced. There will be free paper available to share. You can bring your own paper and books, so you can just show up and fold! If you have models you would like to learn, or teach, let us know and we will try our best to accommodate. OMG NYC's WTF (Weekly Tuesday Folders) meetup is now located at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library at 455 5th Avenue. The meeting is on the 3rd floor in room 303.
