🔝 A challenging hike up to the mythical Pedraforca mountain! 🔝 *¡Subimos la montaña más mítica de Cataluña. Una verdadera obra de arte de la naturaleza!* VER LA TRADUCCIÓN AL CASTELLANO + ABAJO ⤵️ **The Plan** 🥾 The Pedraforca (2,506m), is one of the most emblematic mountains of Catalonia. Its particular shape with its 2 twin peaks (some says it has a heart shape) have given birth to many legends for centuries. The hike to the top of the Pedraforca has become one of the mythical excursions every mountaineer should do in Catalonia. We'll do the hike from and back to the picturesque vilage of Gosol. Starting the ascent to Pedraforca from Gósol provides a quieter and often more solitary mountain experience, with fewer hikers on the trail and greater chances to spot wildlife. We'll ascend towards the shaded side of the Tossa range, passing through beautiful pine forests. We'll reach the ridge of the range and tackle the long uphill traverse to the Enforcadura. From this point, we make the final ascent to the summit of Pollegó Superior. 🚦**Difficulty**: High. Appart from the gain of altitude, the climb from the Enforcadura to the summit of Pollegó Superior is quite challenging and may require using your hands on more than one occasion. However, there is no sense of exposure. La subida del Pedraforca (piedra – horca) se ha convertido en una de las excursiones míticas de Cataluña. Situada entre los términos municipales de Saldes y Gósol, en el Berguedà, el macizo del Pedraforca forma parte del Parque Natural del Cadí-Moixeró y sus alrededores han sido declarados paraje natural de interés nacional. Realizaremos la caminata de ida y vuelta desde el pintoresco pueblo de Gósol. Comenzar la ascensión al Pedraforca desde Gósol ofrece una experiencia de montaña más tranquila y a menudo más solitaria, con menos excursionistas en el sendero y mayores oportunidades para observar la fauna. Ascenderemos hacia la vertiente umbría de la sierra de la Tossa, pasando por hermosos bosques de pinos. Alcanzaremos la cresta de la sierra y abordaremos el largo flanqueo en subida hasta la Enforcadura. En esta ocasión nuestra propuesta para ensuciar y gastar nuestras botas nos lleva a compartir con vosotros uno de los más agradables y completos Caminos de Ronda. “De PALS a SA TUNA” Partiendo de la playa de Pals, veremos Cala Moreta e Illa Roja, ambas calas nudistas, continuamos hasta divisar desde su Mirador la Cala Sa Riera. Lagos de Gerber (Aigüestortes)

Decir Parc Nacional d´Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici es recordar que con sus 40.000 Ha. repartidas entre cuatro comarcas, es la maravilla paisajística más hermosa que tenemos en Catalunya. Y disfrutar de dos de sus hermosos rincones es el destino en el que deseos me acompañéis para cerrar el verano. Los lagos Gerber, Refugio Mataró, esplendor y majestuosidad, entre azulados lagos Cerca del puerto de la Bonaigua en el Palars Sobirà. Sus preciosos lagos están rodeados de montañas graníticas y a sus pies abetos que le dan una bucólica estampa. Y acompañaremos este finde con la Cascada de Gerber o tambien llamada Salt de Comials. Es un rincón poco conocido del Pallars Sobirà, ubicada en el municipio Alt Àneu, su caída de agua procede del Estany de Gerbere. En esta época del año, el verano empieza poco a poco a dar paso al otoño: las montañas empiezan a cambiar de color, el ambiente se vuelve más tranquilo y, muy importante, también es **época de la berrea del ciervo**. Haremos bonitas rutas de senderismo de unas 5 a 7 horas al día, visitaremos pueblos de la zona y disfrutaremos de los primeros colores del otoño en las montañas. Caminaremos por el Vall d'Aran y llegaremos hasta la entrada del Parque Nacional de Aigüestortes, disfrutando de tranquilos paisajes de montaña, aprendiendo sobre las plantas y árboles de la zona y descubriendo algunos de los preciosos ríos y lagos de alta montaña del valle. Una de nuestras guías, Carla, estará trabajando en la zona en el centro de interpretación y, dependiendo de las condiciones y de dónde estén más activos los ciervos, organizaremos con ella una salida opcional a primera hora de la mañana o al atardecer para escuchar y, si tenemos suerte, observar a los ciervos durante la berrea. Es uno de esos increíbles espectáculos de la naturaleza en los que se escuchan los potentes bramidos de los machos resonando entre las montañas. We’ll explore some of the most spectacular landscapes of the valley, hiking between high-mountain lakes, forests, peaks and traditional villages, with routes taking us into the surroundings of **Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park** and **Alt Pirineu Natural Park**. At this time of year, summer is slowly giving way to autumn: the mountains start changing colours, the atmosphere becomes quieter and, very importantly, it’s also **red deer rutting season**. We'll go for beautiful hikes of around 5 to 7 hours per day, visit local villages and enjoy the first autumn colours in the mountains. We'll hike through the Vall d'Aran and reach the entrance of Aigüestortes National Park, enjoying peaceful mountain landscapes, learning about the local plants and trees and discovering some of the valley's beautiful rivers and high-mountain lakes. One of our guides, Carla, will be working in the area at the interpretation centre, and depending on the conditions and where the deer are most active, we’ll organize an optional early-morning or sunset outing with her to listen to and, if we’re lucky, observe the red deer during the rut.
