Uncorking the Unconscious: An Evening of Writing out of the Glass and Into the Self Join us for a creative mix of wine, Jung and journaling. Let your tastebuds lead you into memories, explore your connections with your unconscious, and learn from your inner wisdom. This workshop mixes a guided wine tasting with guided journaling: designed to help you into a new place in yourself, while at the same time enjoy the sensorial experience of selected wines. We will be using a series of prompts and imagery to take you into a journaling experience that will leave you with a clearer idea of who you are, what you have learnt on the way here, and what you can do going forwards to make positive change. The journaling session is based on the works of Carl Jung and Ira Progoff, mixed with the experience of Shadow Journaling founder Oliver Mann. He’s the co-founder of the Barcelona Journaling Festival, Certified Journal to the Self Instructor, and a council member of the International Association for Journal Writing. The workshop is open for anyone, regardless of writing experience, or wine drinking experience. Bring a pen, paper and an open mind!

(English below) Practicar yôga puede ser muy chulo por qué entrenas una combinación de cuerpo físico, emociones, pensamientos y ese “algo más” que todos tenemos/ somos. Esta clase es un poco especial por qué este grupo normalmente es para mejorar tu español. Como algunos ya sabeis, mi hobbie serio es el yôga, hace años que lo practico y tambien tengo formación como instructor, así que por que no proponer una buena clase de domingo? Será en castellano y te puedo ayudar con inglés tambien. Esta vez entrenaremos técnicas de respiración, de meditación, ásanas y otras técnicas. El ambiente es informal, para todos los niveles, relajado y con sentido del humor. También hay momentos más introspectivos. Lo más importante es que tú mismo/a notes el antes y el después de la clase. El espacio donde quedamos es muy chulo, está a 100 metros de Las Ramblas, de Drassanes o de Liceu en la linea verde. Empezamos puntuales a las 11h. Llega unos minutos antes para disfrutar con calma. Para participar hay una contribución de solo 10€ por persona (efectivo, Bizum, Revolut..) SI ya tienes algún pack de 4 x 30€ de las clases de conversación, puedes participar en esta también (cuenta como 1 clase) El plan después de clase es ir a picar algo (opcional) al Honest Greens de Las Ramblas o a otro lugar cerca. **🌸 Spring Journaling Adventure with Marusha** As much as we love our bookshops, libraries and cozy cafes, there is **nothing like journaling in nature**! Let's open the season of outdoor writing sessions with a lovely picnic by the lake. Join me for a soul-nourishing afternoon of mindful wandering, grounding and connecting with nature, writing out things that have to be written, flexing that imagination biceps with some creative assignments – all while snacking and gently sun-baking :) We'll kick off our adventure with a cozy picnic by the pond at Montjuïc, where we'll spread our blankets and let the spring breeze inspire our first words. Whether you're a seasoned journal enthusiast or someone whose last diary entry was "Dear Diary..." in middle school – you're absolutely welcome here. After we've warmed up our writing muscles (and enjoyed some treats), we'll embark on a spring-inspired conscious walk through the park. No intense hiking, more of a *stop-and-smell-the-roses* (or whatever happens to be in bloom) kind of stroll. We'll use this time to gather inspiration, practice gratitude, and maybe even find profound meaning in a random butterfly crossing our path (hey, it happens!). Journaling practices for this gathering will feature some *embodiment work* (letting your senses guide you) – it's relaxing and inspiring in equal measures. Energizing Walk for Busy People!
Join our weekly walking meetup to have fun, maintain a healthy lifestyle, meet new people, and enjoy nature! We meet Saturdays at 10am, by the bike racks and benches 150 feet in front of BUBBLES Hair Salon in Reston, leaving no later than 10:05. Every week we'll walk the Green Trail to Lake Anne Plaza (\~1 mile), pause there for 5-10 minutes (water, bio, and from April-Nov a Farmer's Market), then circle the lake (2 miles) before returning to our starting point. It's roughly 3.5 miles and takes about an hour and a half. Afterwards, some members will often head to a local restaurant to refuel and relax before tackling the rest of the day. This event is open to all ages and fitness levels, and both friends and dogs are always welcome! We recommend dressing for the weather (umbrella, water bottle, snow shoes, hat, etc.) since we'll always walk, rain or shine. By signing up, you accept and assume all risks and responsibilities with this activity, and nobody will be held liable.

Join our weekly walking meetup to have fun, maintain a healthy lifestyle, meet new people, and enjoy nature! We meet Saturdays at 10am, by the bike racks and benches 150 feet in front of BUBBLES Hair Salon in Reston, leaving no later than 10:05. Every week we'll walk the Green Trail to Lake Anne Plaza (\~1 mile), pause there for 5-10 minutes (water, bio, and from April-Nov a Farmer's Market), then circle the lake (2 miles) before returning to our starting point. It's roughly 3.5 miles and takes about an hour and a half. Afterwards, some members will often head to a local restaurant to refuel and relax before tackling the rest of the day. This event is open to all ages and fitness levels, and both friends and dogs are always welcome! We recommend dressing for the weather (umbrella, water bottle, snow shoes, hat, etc.) since we'll always walk, rain or shine. We've been to the Reston location - this is their store in Fairfax. It's a little smaller, so I've set an attendee limit. Same menu, same good food, and I recommend the housemade blackberry syrup for a latte, or their Rose Matcha Latte. Both are kinda unique. This weekend we're meeting on Sunday, a great way to rest and reset, especially after a busy Saturday. Join me. (No discussions on politics, religion or potentially controversial topics. Cafein in Chantilly is another good area cafe. I like their matcha and espresso. If I remember correctly, they have the usual assortment of pastries and breakfast sandwiches. All local cafes seem to have friendly staff, and this is no exception. you'll have no trouble finding parking either. Please come and add your own energy to the group.
