Rowing a boat on the lake in Central Park is a classic New York experience—and it’s even better when shared! Join a fun group of NYSN members and friends as we take to the water for an hour of light adventure, conversation, and beautiful views. After the ride, enjoy a delicious and casual lunch together at the Boathouse Outdoor Café, surrounded by nature in the heart of Manhattan. **🌿 How It Works** 10:00 AM SHARP: Meet in front of the Central Park Boathouse. We’ll walk together to the dock to board the boats. Boats seat 4 people each—take turns rowing or appoint a “captain.” Enjoy 1 hour on the lake, paddling and chatting with fellow participants. West point tour, brotherhood winery tour and tasting, lunch at the winery (entree & soft drink) all taxes and tips.** Check out some Hudson Valley history with this special day trip that will bring you to some amazing sights and tasty treats during the most beautiful time of the year! **What to Expect:** The day will begin with the beautiful train ride up the Metro North Hudson River Line to Garrison NY (or you can drive to meet the group). The group will take a tour of the academy learning its’ rich history. Following the tour we will to to Brotherhood Winery ( America’s Oldest) for lunch. After lunch we will be treated to a tour of the winery and wine tasting. Multiple groups are co-organizing. Space is limited and this event sells out every time.) Join us for a Summer Sunset Singles Stroll in Central Park! Our date walks are becoming an extremely popular and unique way to meet singles in a scenic setting! This event very casual and non-awkward + our host will help to make introductions. Every 10 minutes or so our host will also ask the men to switch with a woman they have not spoken to yet so everyone gets a chance to talk with everyone. We'll walk a 1.5-2 mile stretch through Central Park. We'll then end the walk watching the sunset together. Feel free to exchange contact info with others after walk. FAQs: Where to meet? Exact meeting location with host contact info will be sent to all paid attendees day of the event. How many will attend? We are limiting the # of attendees to a max of 25 so that everyone will get to spend a good amount of time getting to know each other. What are the ages? We'll have a good mix of ages. What if rains?
